Perivale Gallery

This is a lovely gallery showcasing both local and not so local artist. The employer was very knowledgable about the artist. There is something for everyone there. I purchased a gorgeous beautiful cheese board handmade from hardwood by a local artist. The gallery is located on a gorgeous property with gardens. It is worth the drive!

Perivale Gallery is an amazing experience nestled in the forest near Spring Bay. The art is an important reflection of Manitoulin Island culture and history and a visit here is highly recommended. There are both indoor and outdoor immersive attractions and I will cherish my memories of the visit for years to come.

Very friendly staff. Some beautiful works of art and I truly appreciate the quality of work. However, don't go if you expect to find many options in the $100-300 range. Even the new artists demand a premium.Treat it like a museum of local artist's work instead of a gallery for a potential piece. Kids found some nice costume jewelry for $10 - $30. Otherwise we walked away as my wife and I wouldn't pay the asking price for the artwork (and we make a good living). If your pockets are deep you may find a really nice piece from an established artist to bring home (some for $3000+).

Wonderful gallery with some spectacular works. The location itself is also beautiful. The art was thoughtfully curated, from local artists. The pieces really represent the spectacular island. If you have the chance, definitely make it a point to visit the gallery.

This hidden gem unfolded one beautiful surprise after another - from the gardens with inviting benches and tall sheltering trees, to room after room of evocative art works in varied mediums: acrylic, oil, watercolor, photography, textile, ceramic, and jewelry. Climbing the stairway to the second floor displays was like exploring a grandmother's attic full of hidden treasure. As I was leaving, Shannon asked if I had voted for my three favorites in the Spirit of Tom Thomson Show. I had not voted so I went back and looked again. I was amazed at seeing differently this time, as I carefully noted what touched me most in the show. I left this visit to Perivale Gallery ruminating on the difference this brief interaction made to my perception and wondering about the art courses that the gallery offers.

I love this place! We visited a few years ago and they were so friendly and the location is beautiful! I recently ordered a print from them and they could not have been more helpful. It is hanging up on my wall in a place where I will see it everyday. I look forward to visiting again and buying more art from this gallery. It's more than just a gallery, it's a community!!!

Great gallery and very welcoming. If you're in the area it's nice to visit and marvel at some of the great local artists work.
