Went for a date night with wife and had wing night. The food was incredible! Pizza not greasy and wings best in Okotoks. Karen was our server and was super fantastic. This lady worked her bums off. Amazing!!!

Usually we have a good experience here but we went today for a business lunch. We arrived at 12:10pm. Got our food at 1:20pm. We never got a drink refill the whole time and it seemed like the patio was under staffed. When the food came it wasn’t the usual quality. Server took the drinks off the bill but it was three sodas.We had meetings at 1:30 so basically had to eat and run.I am hoping this was a one off for the George.

We waited 45 minutes for a terrible pizza, only to be told they serve the best pizza in Okotoks. I'm sorry, but we disagree. For $29 we expect more than processed American cheese on a burnt crust and a waitress that can barely smile.

The George has amazing food and atmosphere. I love their perogies and fish. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. They offer specials throughout the week, which is great.

Recently visited The George for Friday night live Music. Had arrived a bit early for dinner before the show. Had the fish and chips. Man alive was it good. Honestly the best I have had in a long time. Excellent batter, thick and quality fish cooked perfectly flaky. The portions were good sized and priced very reasonable. No inflation excess charge ! The customer service was amazing. Prompt , helpful and friendly. Am looking forward to enjoying and supporting this establishment again!

My husband and I like to go to the George in Okotoks. I love, love the salt and pepper wings (best anywhere!) and their homemade mozzarella sticks are great! My husband loves the prime burger and fries. Last night, it was crazy busy but we got great service from Karen and Lucy, who are always friendly and funny. The atmosphere, food and staff are awesome!! Oh, and their George red beer is my fav anywhere near here. ❤️❤️

Tried to go to the George after reading great reviews. Sign outside said kid friendly. We went in and were greeted by someone at the bar. The sign at the front said seat 1yourself, so we chose a patio seat. After 5 minutes the server came and told us that people with kids have to sit inside. No explanation why. So we moved inside. Another few minutes and a different server came to tell us that kids aren't allowed at the table we were at and we had to move again. We said forget it and got up and left. It was 1:00 on a Thursday afternoon and there were about 6 tables in the whole place. Great policy to make families feel welcome. 0/10 would recommend.

Visited for a dinner date. While the atmosphere and band were decent, our experience with our server, little miss blonde eastern-european, was ridiculous. Someone should train her to understand that she is there to serve, not flirt endlessly with men customers, especially those with partners.She brought my friend his drink but not mine, touched him constantly, lingered to chat with my friend as if I was not there, and when he flagged her to ask about my drink, she finally came over and asked him, “Are you giving me a love-look?” When I finally got my drink, 30 minutes later, it was spicy when I specifically requested non-spicy. I feel based on her conduct she did this deliberately. Ladies, consider going elsewhere with your guy.We waited way too long to get our food. The burger tasted like a frozen patty, and the dip trio was uneventful, bland, and there was not enough bread or chips to go with it. When the server saw that I was eating my food very slowly, she came over to tell me to hurry up and eat. You can’t make this stuff up. She also appeared annoyed because we took our time and appeared to want to hurry us out.Won’t be returning.

We stopped in mid afternoon today May 26th. I have to say that our server was fantastic even though she was the only server in the pub. The food was great but maybe the steak sandwich was less than tender but very tasty. Kudos to the server! I wish I got here name because she was just great

What a great experience. Their busiest night with local hockey crowd out for playoffs!! Creative menu, good service, congenial staff & bonus discount specials.. Incomparable event and customer consideration! Thanks, for a memorable introduction to The George!
