I wanted to adopt ConnieThey made it sound like there was some super long lineup for her.I needed a dog,,but not the b.s.She's still there??I since have found a beautiful Australian kelpiAnd she was virtually wild,Zero direction,and at a year oldI'm the 4th ownerBut now I have her totally trained,And would have done this for Connie as well.And I feed my new dogVery high energy,and expensive food,I Have her jogging beside my bikeRain or shineDailyBut your system isn't as good as you think it isIf she's still there?Shame on delta animal shelterI'm so sorry to see that.

This place is a joke Melanie or meladie took my callCalled at 10am to report a found dog palmeranianOwner called at 1014 and 1048 am they said no leads I did give my phone number and said anyone with a palmeranian to call me to prove they owned it they said file has been created I asked don’t you want my phone number ??? They didn’t seem like they were on the ball today...Cloverdale animal shelter called and said we found a promising lead they will call you if it’s ok they helped big time !!!cloverdale ( sarc ) surrey animal resource centre connected me to the owner no thanks to delta community your dogs probably sitting there while they lie to you super unprofessional very sad

I called the shelter today as there was a dog from bc lost in quebec, in the event the owners were looking or dcas had the contact information for the owners that is why i called the women that answered the phone was so rude and unappreciative. At least be thankful that members of the public are calling trying to reunite the owner with their dog. No need to be rude and snarky

I had a wonderful experience back in august adopting my boy figaro when I was unable to find any adult cats in vancouver- high demand. one might say it was because I was finally first to call in.. but let's call it fate instead. all of the staff who assisted me in the process were marvellous and their expertise guided me during those first nervous days. I felt I had everything I needed for this talkative kitty, medical records are important! I would have no reservations about reaching out if I ever had any concerns or issues, these girls do work ❤️

They treated me very well. I am very grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to me by staff. I would have lost my animals were it not for them. Donate generously they are doing excellent work.

First class shelter.The teams work hard to socialize dogs that had a rough start. They conduct classes which helps the public feel the place is accessable.

Honestly super polite, helpful and all around awesome staff. Best experience at any SPCA or animal shelter I have ever had the privilege of dealing with. Every staff member I have met take excellent care of all the animals there. They get lots of love and lots of space when they are brought in. I did not see one animal that was kept in a small cage they all had whole rooms to run around in. Hands down the best animal shelter in the Lower mainland. If I could I would give them a 100x ***** review

I adopted my Big boy Jackson. Who was a Chihuahua. He was very skiddsh. They let me take him home the day I went to see him. It was the best experience for both Jackson, and I. I would for the most part keep them updated on our relationship. He made friends both human and furry. When I had to let him go humanly. I wrote an email to these very lovely people. They sent me back a wonderful message in an email. When I am ready for another fur baby, I will probably return to this shelter.I know that people get very upset about their experiences.. however, remember we are dealing with the staff who really have a pet's best interest at heart. Please be patient.with the staff. Please also remember to have your pet chipped easier to find out where they live

Everyone is absolutely wonderful and have the knowledge based background to help you adopt your new fluffy best friend!
