Bickford Park Dog Park
A bleek park, just dirt but mostly gravel. Sadly my dogs dont enjoy playing or running in this park as it tend to hurt their paws. Never go here after some rain as it becomes a large pool of mud

Great dog park with water fountains and soft River Rock for the bedding. Even my tiny Chihuahua didn't have any issue with the rocks on his tiny paws, as the rocks are super smooth. Highly recommend for anyone in the West end of downtown.

Bickford Park Dog Park
It's a big enough park, which is nice. Half of it is dirt\grass hill and the rest is pebbles (which can be tough on paws) with landscape cloth peeking through the surface. There's one water fountain that doesn't have a permanent bowl so someone has to bring one. The garbage cans are moved up hill for winter, so poop bags can pile up outside the gates. It's conveniently located, and most of the dogs\owners are nice and respectful. Overall good, not great.

Took a dog I was fostering here once and she loved it! The dog park is fenced in so there was no worries of her bolting. There is a water pump available for the puppers and I even met some folks who were also from the same fostering organization and many other very nice people/dogs in general! Most dogs preferred to play on the grassy hill in the park and not on the gravel. Take this with a grain of salt since I'm not a regular. I came on a weekday afternoon at the beginning of the summer, so there were less people and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Its a great place in a nice neighborhood. Having a public washroom is an added bonus. Along the path there a water bottle fill Station and a spout to fill a bowel or rinse your pet.

My dog has been attacked twice in this park now. I moved into the area in October and visit this park almost every morning. Maybe it's the evening crowd, but I'm so upset to have my dog attacked a second time. I'll never go back to that place.
