Ride BC

Travelled from the UK and knew I wanted to experience some of the awesome riding squamish has to offer. Met up with the guys and they sorted a bike out for me with spd pedals and the brakes euro style.Ollie took me up some amazing tracks and got a feel for my riding ability before showing me some techy descents, whoopy jump lines and squamish slabs. Very good tour taking in everything I would have expected and more.Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone considering it.

James and Andrej Duck" are the real deal. They provide an incredibly authentic Squamish mountain biking experience. Both are local trail builders that care deeply about the community and sport. They know the history of the area and are excellent at matching your interests and skills with local rides. Tell them what you are looking for

Had an excellent experience riding in Squamish with my buddy and our guide James. James was very calm and gave excellent trail tips for an experienced Ontario rider riding the big BC trails for the first time. I was able to set my own pace and ride at my own comfort level, and with James' help I rode multiple black trails that I would've been too intimidated to approach on my own. Thanks for the great morning!

First time ever mountain biking and 100% sold on the sport! James is a great local guide and taught me many important skills such as how to adjust the seat, which lines to take, how to break properly, how to cross bridges, how to get over logs, technique for going over bumps, how to make sharp turns and how to get up steep hills. After the lesson I would definitely feel confident and safe if ever I were to go out by myself! Also I got to ride a Juliana bike for my rental- which I hear is super good quality!

I signed up for a 1/2 day ride/lesson with Ollie as my instructor and all that I can say is wow, what a great experience. His teaching/coaching style is fantastic and we did it all while hitting a bunch of great trails. Ollie did a great job of safely nudging me out of my comfort zone allowing me to apply new skills. The whole experience really exceeded my expectations and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Did a lesson yesterday with James. It was so cool to create some real building blocks in my riding skills and be able to get out there with a lot more confidence! Stoked to ride with the RideBC crew again soon.

I had a stellar trip with Ride BC out on the trails in Squamish, BC in late April!Coordinating was easy--I just emailed back and forth with James on when/where to meet and what kind of riding I was looking for.The ride was perfectly routed and paced for my ability. I was able to convene the types of riding and trails I currently rode and they were easily able to find the most appropriate trails for me.During the ride, I was also given expert insight and advice to improve my riding. I was hesitant on riding slabs performing rock rolls, but with some expert demonstration and a little coaching I was able to nail some previous features I chickened out on before.To top it off, Ride BC even got a great photo/video of me!Thank you for the memories.100% Recommended!

We found James via his ride BC Instagram page. He was a top bloke and provided the best guided ride for all of our abilities on the day and on wicked bikes! Can’t wait to come back to Squamish for another epic ride.

I spent two days with Ollie on guided rides and I can confidently say that this was among the most enjoyable and positive experiences I've ever had, on or off the bike. Ollie provided excellent customer service and generously shared his knowledge and expertise throughout our rides. Not only did I learn a ton of trails in the area, but I became a better and safer rider. Thank you, Ollie and James, for the work you do! I will be back soon!

James was super cool to ride with, he’s really skilled and clearly knows the area like the back of his hand, feels more like riding with a friend than riding with an instructor or guide. He showed us some perfect trails and even gave us guidance to things to do after we finished riding. Will be back
