Do not buy from their auctions on hibid. They sell junk that doesn’t work. And they shill bidding which means they know your highest bid and drive bids up against you to get more money from you and sell you junk. I tried to get in touch with them through email and got no replay. Stay away from this company

I have Purchased from Sylmar on a number of occasions and always found them good to deal with. In one case I bought multiple skid lots. after picking up my items, I Received a call a few days later, notifying me that I had missed three boxes from one of the lots. I always find them to be professional and pleasant to deal with.

Went to pickup items I bid on and won next day, and had multiple items gone. They are suppose to have people check items being loaded, how does this happen? Never get my business again!

Got a $700 suit for $15, this place is great!

I have had 3 bad experiences that I hope this review will help the Sylmar team to correct in the future. 1. A few employees are rude, specifically when collecting what you won in bidding. 2. Twice, I had bad experiences with the online auctions. I would recommend to go and check what you bid on online, before you bid on it. I paid a total of over $600 in one case for items that were not working and could have gotten the same broken ones in marketplace for $50. The other time, item advertised as new was opened, used and rusted. In live auction one can at least get more info on what one bids on and make sure it is working.

Bought several welders from them on auction. A couple stated they were for parts so i paid an appropriate price and wasnt surprised on the condition. I expected since they stated some didnt work that the others did so i paid an appropriate price for those as well. Turned out of the 7 i bought 1 worked, 4 of the ones i expected would work didnt. If stuff doesnt work should state it or if it is missing pieces so cant be tested should say that.
