Called in to cancel apt same day as my daughter is sick with a fever and trying to follow COVID-19 protocols and make sure it’s safe for everyone and are charging us for the full apt “because it’s policy” so make sure your child is sick within policy or you’ll be charged. They won’t care you’re being smart and trying to not put anyone at risk, they just want their money.Your response to my husband offends me as you state your concerned about your staff but we cancelled due to a COVID concern and you charge us? We are offended

My son has seen Denitsa since he was 3 and we are now back for more sessions at the age of 7. We came back to her because I know she will not waste our time and I trust her.I’m confused why parents have put up negative reviews because I just asked her today what we can do if my son has a covid scare and there is no time to cancel our appointment. She let us know that a virtual appointment could take place in that instance and that works for us. Their loss.

Would never bring my kids here again. They charge you for an appointment when you cancel the morning of bc your child wakes up with a fever. Trying to be safe and air on the side of caution with COVID and being penalized for it. Horrendous customer service. Would have given 0 but no option for that. Asked the owner to reach and speak to me, but received no communication. Office would rather have you bring a sick kid rather than just offering a rescheduling of appointment.

Denitsa, help our son a lot :) she's very nice. It's been 3 years since my son started his therapy - so much improvement and we're very happy. The staff are great.. :) Winnie (OT) also helping my son :) We very thankful!

I have nothing but good things to say about The Communication Clinic.Fernanda has been amazing with the Occupational Therapy she provided for my son(Emmanuel). When we started attending the therapy session Emmanuel couldn't even hold a crayon/pencil or a scissor now he can write his own name and cut pictures out all by himself.Ellysa was Emmanuel's speech-language Pathologist. Emmanuel was having problems sounding out some letters, using full sentences and having a back and forth conversation. Ellysa help my son so much to the point that all my family is impressed of how much my son's speech has improved in the past few months.Overall, I am just soo thankful for all of their amazing work...! Both Fernanda and Ellysa are great therapists. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an occupational or speech-language therapist for their children...

My four year old son progressed tremendously during last few months of speech therapy with Denitsa. She is experienced, dedicated and professional, but also playful and understanding. Not only she could help my son develop his language, but she helped us create more structure and focus. That was extremely important, especially in the pandemic and kid's isolation. Also, that was done online, which is almost a miracle. She knew how to keep his attention and didn't give up!

Denitsa is patient, understanding and full of interesting ways to keep my stubborn child engaged in lessons. There are countless games and activities on offer each lesson, as well as choices for him to make so that he feels he's in control. She is flexible with appointments and during covid restrictions switched to virtual lessons, which were also surprisingly effective. I highly recommend Denitsa for your speech therapy needs...esp if you are near the Junction. There is a bus stop just outside and parking was never a problem. We spent 2 years with her and my child went from unintelligible to a confident, clear speaker.

While my son was attending language therapy with Denitsa, I talked to another parent whose child was going there too, and they said I really like how Denitsa gets in there with the child" - and I feel that this is the best description of the services we received - yes

So thankful to the great team at the Communication Clinic for all their hard work. From referring us to further services available to stepping out in the middle of a busy road to keep my child safe, the therapists and manager of the clinic have gone above and beyond to provide a positive and caring environment for my child. Can't thank them enough.

I'm very happy with the help we received and the high level of professionalism. It's clear that our son's progress is making an impact; both his teachers in JK and SK have noticed the changes in his speech, behaviour, and learning.At the time, we were looking for a speech therapist in Toronto to work with our 3-year-old son, who was behind on his speech milestones. We wanted to help him better understand English and express himself, since we speak Bulgarian at home. We found the perfect fit with Denitsa.We had weekly sessions with Denitsa at the Communication Clinic. The sessions started with basic speech and understanding, and gradually progressed to more focused practices tailored for early school. All the activities were play-based learning, and the centre had great facilities such as toys and a gym room to keep him engaged.We had sessions both in-person and online. Denitsa was flexible in switching to online activities if our son was feeling unwell and couldn't attend the centre. If he had a cough or fever, we were able to call or email on the same day to ask for an online session, so we never missed an appointment.In our experience, in-person sessions are more interactive and animated, but we have found online sessions to be valuable as well. We use a laptop that we can move around and follow the kid. Our son loved the storytelling on the screen with different characters and roles and talking about it.All in all, we are very fortunate to have found Denitsa and The Communication Clinic, and we highly recommend it to other parents.
