Swiss Chalet
It’s a Swiss Chalet and the food was exactly what I was expecting. Flora was absolutely amazing though. She was so sweet and so fun. Her energy was absolutely delightful.

I actually don’t think Swiss chalet generally deserves 4 stars. But I have a long history with this specific location (mainly good) and the value is hard to beat.

Swiss Chalet
I ordered delivery from Swiss chalet yesterday and I was very disappointed. I had requested delivery time to he at 2:50 since my break time was 3pm and it ended up coming an hour early. By the time I went to eat the food it was extremely soggy and cold. Disappointment. I then tried to reach out to the restaurant and they sent me in circles with customer service, they told me it wasn’t their problem and tried to direct me to the store but they never answered after calling multiple times.

Swiss Chalet
We ordered two Caesar salads, perigees and chicken rolls. It was terrible. The lettuce was old, the peroxide were mush and the chicken was dry . I was very disappointed. It was nothing like eating in the restaurant. I mentioned it to other people and they told me Swiss Chalet has gone downhill. I won’t order from there anymore.

I'm upset that this place is going to be closing for good, but that seems to be the way of things lately.Of all the Swiss Chalet I've been to, this has consistently been my favorite, and it's not just because it was a place that was frequented by myself and my family since I was about 5, this place has the warmness I've come to expect at a restaurant like this, and the food tastes just as good.Oftentimes, I've been to other locations where the food has been soggy. To my surprise, each time I've been here it's tasted as fresh as fast food of this nature I guess can be.While you can only ride on the coattails of nostalgia for a while, this restaurant had become a staple for the Kingsway, and will be missed.Thank you for the memories

I have been to this location for always great barbeque chicken with delectable chicken sauce, fries, salad and restaurant dressing. Also enjoyed the back ribs and its go-along sauce until they removed the back ribs.I am very much going to miss this location on Bloor Street near Royal York Road.

I was given a gift card from a family member for swiss chalet. When I arrived at Swiss chalet I couldn’t decide what to get, so I made the cashier aware that it was my first time here. This lovely lady with the most welcoming smile by the name of Martina walked me through the menu and asked me what my preferences were, she even helped me order in a way that was inexpensive and gave me the opportunity to try a different meal the next time I visit. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. The fish was cooked very well and the sweet potato sauce really complimented the fries. The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. I will definitely be dining in next time.

Horrible service, especially when you get the slow old ladies as servers. Waited 10 minutes to get a seat, not the first time btw, and then she barked at me to sit in some corner seat. Then she barked at me to hang up my coat. I simply left as she grumbled under her badly dyed hair.

Our usual family Swiss Chalet at Royal York and Bloor in the Kingsway. Flora our usual server was in always so pleasant. Great meal for lunch - the Battered Haddock fish & chips were amazing!More folks ordered the Fish & Chips that were seated close to my table. I overheard some conversations and they were so happy as well with their meals.Great service, portion and taste... Well done Swiss Chalet The Kingsway! Ps ..Flora is one of the best in the country!!!

Food is consistently good. The waitress we had was very good, polite and patient. (a very demanding and ignorant customer right behind us) We wish we caught her name.....
