Wellington Walk-in Clinic
Every time I've visited I've had incredible service. Today I asked about how long and the intake person pointed at the sign and said I wasn't allowed to ask. I only needed an x-ray requisition but was willing to wait. I left after 4 hours because there was no hope of an x-ray after I saw the doctor .if you work there you should be able to estimate hours of waiting. Plus the receptionist is a speaker phone in public talker and that was the last straw. I lost my mind after hearing about her car trouble. Still a great clinic. just need a better service plan.

Receptionist is very rude. Condescending tone. Yells at everyone walking in to put on a mask which is fine but she has hers tucked below her chin while she’s behind the desk and walking around in the waiting room. Facility is extremely dirty. Puke was left in the middle of the entrance the entire time I was there. I couldn’t stand listening to the receptionist verbally abuse any more patients so I decided to leave. A mom and young boy came in as I was leaving and was told they were full. I tried to give them my spot and they were refused. I was talking to the mom in the parking lot and she said when she called to ask if they were taking patients the receptionist answered “well I answered the phone didn’t I?!” I’ve worked as a medical receptionist for over 10 years. I would never speak to patients this way. There’s a huge demand in Barrie for dr’s and walk ins but I’ll never step foot in this place again. Not sure about the physicians (didn’t get that far) but anyone who is going to a walk in probably doesn’t want to be there in the first place. This particular receptionist makes it 10x worse.

Best clinic in Barrie no doubt. I've been to some of these other so called clinics but this clinic definitely delivers. Receptionist was kind and patient even though some of the other people were just straight up rude and treated her like garbage. Why can't people just be nice. Health care jobs are not easy. Don't show up after 30 people already registered and then complain about the wait times. There's 1 receptionist and 1 Dr like what do you expect. I am so thankful that they are open and operating. I bring my family here each and every single time because they are reliable and we get the health care we need in a city where health care is scarce. Definitely recommend.

Just a horrid experience …..been there before. Waited 1 hour to register. Got to counter and health card was expired ( been there before 2 times ) refused me care, go to service Canada 1.5 hours came back and she told me they are full. Wasted 3.5 hours and had to go to another clinic. Now another 2 hours that’s gonna close to 5-6 hours of a day to get looked at by a doctor ….. all while in pain and can’t see out my left eye…… insane, been a Canadian citizen my whole life, pay all my taxes and do what what’s expected just to be treated like a 2nd class human. So sad

The receptionist is very rude andRacist.I was waiting in the line. She was so sweet to the person who was before me talking and wasting tons of time. I didn’t really mind. I waited almost 12 minutes when it was my turn. She flipped. She was totally different person very rude and mean I only asked if by chance they can give me a call when it’s close to my appointment as I have a newborn. Who is just comes out of the NICUI am worried to stay around for himShe cut me off and said i am sorry I don’t do that by any meansI said ok no problemThen she stopped talking to me i was standing there waiting for herShe said hay are u going to give me your health cardI was shocked by the way she was talking to me i was like u didn’t say anything i was waiting for uShe said then I have to take the next person and she started talking to the next person as i am not thereObviously, she was also a white personEnd of story is such a bad attitude, bad customer service they don’t deserve to have any business

I’ve come to share my incredible service I received today at your clinic. The staff were so welcoming, kind, supportive and efficient. I’ve never seen a walk in clinic with such great protocols ! Very clean atmosphere, doctor listened and was attentive with my concerns. Took time to actually listen very impressed given these times ! The lady who scheduled me in was such a kind young lady. She did introduce herself but I forgot thin woman with dark hair and a bright smile. She was so patient with the other patients there, not all were very kind sadly. I give them so much credit for all that they do !They will give medical care to anyone no judgement - we need to see more of that !!Well done Wellington team !I will be back again - as finding a doctor is impossible these days !Cheers all the best !Lindsay H

This was my first time here, and admittedly after reading the reviews I came somewhat hesitantly. That being said I had an awesome experience. Both the receptionist and the doctor were attentive to my needs. My visit was not quick, but for a walk in clinic the wait time was not unusual. It was evident that the receptionist had her work cut out for her and was not idol the entire time I was there. I will be returning to this clinic without any qualms and will recommend that others do so as well.

I just went to this walk in clinic today February 10,2023 and I don't like how the receptionist accommodate patients. She called my name and so I stand up and go at the front but then asked me to go back to my chair again coz she's not done with the other one yet. She's short lady and with a loud voice. I've been waiting for her to call my name again but noopeeeeee. Rather she called the ones got here after me. My ECG result is very important and she delayed my appointment! if something happened to me coz she delayed it, I swear to God I'm gonna report thisady. She is the worst walk in clinic receptionist I've ever encountered! I hope they'll replace her. This lady is no good at all. Bad attitude. BAD BEHAVIOUR!!!! I just f*ckn wasted my time today. Deym

First time I went to this place and the service was awesome, went back a second time for a prescription refill and the receptionist was kind enough to insult me and ask me if I was there for some oxcotin and when she saw the disgust on my face quickly tried to recant what she said. Needless to say after this refill they have lost my business. I'd rather go to somewhere more upscale and not low-end like this pharmacy.

Should get someone more warm and welcoming doing reception. She's cold. Also its so unprofessional to ask us why were there at the walk in clinic in front of the entire waiting room. Reading off our addresses and phone numbers. Absolutely no discretion or privacy!!! Unbelievable! What if someone came in with a super embarassing issues they didn't feel like discussing in front of random strangers....just unacceptable. Pharmacies shelves looks half empty as well. Also when I stated why I was coming in, that I had been diagnosed with an eye condition from the eye doctors and needed proper treatment from an actual doctor. Receptionist just kept her attitude up that you don't diagnose yourself you give me symptoms. All around just really unprofessional to the say the least.
