Thomas in the paint department was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! It’s so rare to encounter good customer service these days and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful he was. Thank you!

Been going here for years as I am a resident of Barrie. I spent $5,000 in the last month alone because I am doing renovations. Now for the negative part: I purchased a laundry tub for $600 within the month and after spending $200 having it installed, we realized there is a dent in the tub that is rusting. Took my concerns to the store and they offered a $100 partial refund in order to purchase items which will stop it from rusting further. The manager that assisted us was also robotic and had no concern about the customer in mind. I think it would be a friendlier experience if we had spoken to an AI instead. I understand we should've realized it before the contractor installed it but Home Depot could also be more courteous towards a customer who has spent over 50k within the last decade. Will be going to Lowes instead since their customer service is held to a higher standard.Home Depot is fine as long as you do not have any issues with the items and the moment they can assist, their service will be worse than their competitors.Edit: Reached out to the Home Depot team on FB and they offered another $100 gift card. Not the best solution or the one I was hoping for but of course beggars cant be choosers I suppose.

Staff don't know about their own company policies. I had to do the research first on own and pay for someone to tell me the shoes weren't worth of exchange. We'll see."

A full five to this Home Depot and this specially their employee named VanSince I just moved to Barrie this was my first Barrie Home Depot tripSo I asked Van about buying a garden hoseHe showed be several of them and advised what to buy and what not to buy with excellent reasons he was warm friendly and very very helpful As a lay person it all made senseI ended up buying all of his recommendations and was gladWould advise do ask for him before buying the right advice with valid reasons make a lot of senseGreat store with excellent employees to help

Barrie's Home Depot is one of best I've been to. It's always exceptionally well stocked and the associates are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's my go-to home improvement store! The new Ryobi tool centre display is very impressive and will help add to my stock at home.

Lovely service today, at the Depot. It seems to make all the difference at checkout to bring a photo of the bin no. when getting a party mix of nuts bolts and screws. And pro tip, make sure each one you buy is the size and thread that you are looking for.

Got a Frigidaire fridge nothing but the run around. Had it serviced twice maybe more called so many times I can’t rememberYou buy it you keep is the Home Depot MotoEvery person at the store said one year for warranty it’s not its 11 months after you buy it so guess what ? you guessed it to bad for you ! I was waiting for them to exchange the fridge but guess what it’s fine nothing wrongBuyer beware!!!

Was shopping Home Depot Barrie today would like to commend my experience in the flooring dept. Al the associate gave exemplary customer service and his product knowledge was outstanding.This gave me confidence in the product that I was buying. Al even put his coat on snd came outside to help load boxes on truck. Well done AL.
