Very good service, very good food. Tomato macaroni soup.. liver and bacon, mashed potatoes with gravy, yum!

I can't really recommend this place to eat.I tend to love omelettes and you can't really go wrong with them unless for some nefarious reason you want to give your customers a day filled with dread because you let your cook use American sliced cheese.For the love of everything that's right in this world, use real cheddar, marble, or mozzarella... Anything but that fake processed crime of a so called cheese.Thank you.

Excellent home cooked food! Friendly service. Restaurant has banquet chairs and tables and needs reno but don't let that keep you away from a truly local gem of food and service

I love this place.The atmosphere is very warm and unique. Easy to feel at home. Quite jazz like music in the background. This place is truly one of a kind.The service is amazing. Everyone has a smile on there face, and are very personable.The food is fantastic. Perfect portions. Great quality.This is definitely one of the top 3 places for breakfast in Sarnia

Breakfast was great! Arrived just before 9a.m., told to sit where we wanted. Waitress came with coffee and took our order - French toast special and 2 eggs with sausage for my partner.Food came out quick and served hot! Service was great too, filled our coffee when needed without having to ask and was friendly. Out the door with full bellies in about half an hour!

Liver and bacon was fantastic! Good service. Friendly staff. Great family style food restaurant. I will definitely go there again. I recommend it for those who enjoy a homemade style of food.

I have had burgers and filet of sole here and both are excellent meals. Servers are very friendly and kind. They are reasonably priced too.

Clean place with attentive service. Pancakes are huge and fluffy - I couldn't finish all 3 but tried hard. Husband had home fries which where fresh cut real fresh potatoes. Very good (I pinched a few). He also asked for a toasted cheese lettuce and tomato sandwich instead of a BLT and it was provided.

Nice small diner. It is an old building that appears to have been a drive through at some point and converted to a diner. The building is not in the best shape, but the owners appear to be doing what they can to keep it relatively clean. There's not a big lot of parking, which was not a big deal when I came a there were not a lot of customers. The food was hot and fast, and I liked the fact that I could order anything of the menu at 8 am in the morning being that I am working night shift. The server was accurate and polite. Sarnia can be a difficult place to find a restaurant to dine in at the early hours. Would come again.

I love Sophie's Diner. We enjoyed our meal today. It was done just the way we like. The food is excellent comfort food. I've had their roast beef and baby liver before and really enjoyed them both. The staff is very polite and are quick to bring order so you have a nice hot meal. You MUST try a good meal here.
