Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

Not really impressed with the guy at the donation drop off. Brought in a chair he said it had a mark on it and didn't want it, then just walked away. I didn't know they only took brand new things. The mark was the water I used to clean up a dirt spot. I left with the chair and my 6 other boxes full of donations. I stopped and had lunch then went to Goodwill by that time chair spot was dry and chair looked normal so then dropped off the chair at Goodwill and went in and bought things while I was there. Won't waste my time with Saint Vincent de Paul again. I will donate and buy from Goodwill or Thrift shop on Dominion.

Am new to windsor and I hated that place and am not going back. The cashier refused to give me a bag even after asking for it she said they don't have them yet they were right in front of me. I felt offended and I don't know if She did that because am black !! But I felt like cursing her even though I didn't! !!! I wish I didn't go there they ruined my day.

I had an incredible experience at this store. The selection was staggering! I found 3 adorable dresses, 2 golf skirts and a Tshirt. The sales staff were so warm and friendly! Prices were excellent, considering the items are new w tags for designer products. I can’t wait to come back for more! :) not sure how often stock is replenished, but I didn’t even have time to check everything out the first time. LOTS to see in this incredible store that makes a difference!

Friendly. They carry a lot of brand new Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren and Kate Spade, tags still on. For real. Amazing prices. And I bought the cutest vintage chair there. Other thrift stuff is just ok.

***this is a review for the designer deals store on marentette***I have been going to this location for almost a year, they have really good deals on designer brands. The store offers a good variety of shoes, children’s clothes, mens, womens, bathing suits, etc. Some of the items are not always in the best condition. There are some hidden gems in this store and the mark downs from the original prices are a huge plus! The staff are always very helpful and welcoming every time I come by too! It’s always nice to talk to whoever’s working that day.One thing I must say that rubs me the wrong way is that there used to be a chair behind the cash register for the clerks that I noticed has been removed. There is a very nice clerk at this store who is pregnant. I don’t know if its a coincidence that the chair is gone now or if was taken away for some reason but I feel that the cashiers should have the option to sit when checking out customers. Especially if they are pregnant and working full shifts. I just can’t see that being very uncomfortable. Love this store though, I just felt this could use some addressing.

Just went in to browse. Didn't buy anything this time. But maybe another time I will. Like any other thrift store, stock changes regularly so you never know what you will find. This location is recently opened. There is no public rest room....so if someone has a young child, or an urgent need for them selves....they will have to leave and maybe not return to buy

The new Society shop is in a better fitted building then the previously. The store is still pretty new and inventory was not as much as expected. The shop is well organized and tidy. Many items appear to be priced much higher then they used to be at the previous location.
