Pool Craft

We've been waiting for a number of years to finally get to this major reno, luckily and with Poolcraft's smart planning, we bought most of the expensive items last year when we locked in with them for this project. The way we found Poolcraft (PC) was thru their very high ratings on Homestars & Google Reviews, also their website is beautiful (completed projects etc.)As this is a big ticket item, I'll try and provide a thorough review for others looking to make this major investment in their home. We worked with PC, Stonecraft (Landscaping) and Timbercraft (Carpentry). We enjoyed working with everyone, but a special shout out to Rick (Sales) and Chris (Pool project mgr), as they were truly top notch individuals! Rick has a very calming and reassuring presence, Chris provided an email update daily on what was done and the plan for tomorrow!I will try and upload a few pics, the work done was- Julie helped us come up with a wonderful design for the project- Pool and large patio- Floating steps down to pool with garden on each side- Putting green with astro turf surrounding it- Moving stairs from right side of the deck to left- Flagstone front porch, garden and driveway bandingWe were supposed to start work Apr 1, but due to weather and other issues the work didn't start till May. The landscaping team who had the most work to do, were doing their best but got delayed a few times due to many other concurrent projects. As such we finished in mid-Aug but these days that's par for the course.Discussing details of the plan, especially when changes were required was not stressful, everyone had great ideas and we relied on their vast experience. I didn't have to spend much time chasing after people, and also only once or twice was anything not 100% correct, that I had to work with the team to correct. For a project this size, this is pretty amazing. We had new grass put in, in the 1st week after it was in, looked fairly brown but the team reassured me with the sprinkler system running it should come back and if it didn't they had my back...it did in fact come back beautifully!So all in all, I can 100% recommend PC for a project like this, they are definitely one of the top companies in this field! I cannot say it is cheap but if you want to minimize stress and headaches, and $$ spent in the future repairing items then it's best to go with a top company like PC! Finally I'll add, we also had a good experience with their pool support team, they explained why our concerns with elephant covers are unfounded as long as you have a reputable company install them and they did a great job closing the pool!

Always professional and knowledgeable. They offer free water testing and advice on keeping my pool in excellent condition all summer long! They have everything you need.

We interviewed 3 different pool companies and initially chose Pool Craft based upon their professionalism, honesty and reputation.Jason was engaged at the very start helping us obtain the necessary letters and permits from the builder and town to get the process started.From there Jason, Chris and Curtis helped us with the pool dimensions, style, features, gas BBQ line installation pool equipment location and overall landscape design, making various recommendations and outlining the potential costs associated with each one.Once the project got underway Kevin (Project Manager) was onsite on a regular basis monitoring progress and ensuring we were comfortable as each step was completed. Curtis made various landscaping recommendations (ie tree locations, stone placement, window well treatments, etc) that can only come from years of experience.The softscape design and lighting recommendations were made by Mitch. Careful thought was put into selecting the trees and plants to maximize privacy and space.Our lot is not very big however I was pleasantly surprised at how big the pool and living space turned out to be in the end. We have thoroughly enjoyed our first summer as pool owners and would highly recommend using Jason and the Pool Craft team for your pool installation and landscaping investment.Great job Pool Craft!

We used Pool Craft to build our pool and backyard landscaping plus we did some stonework/landscaping in the front.From the very beginning Rick was great to deal with, very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They were realistic with their time frames, and took the time to understand our vision. From the initial drawings to the final stage, they expressed a tremendous amount of care. I think that makes a big difference in work quality.They were very easy to work with and delivered exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier!They were at my house for almost 2 months and my neighbours would even comment how clean and courteous the workers were.I would highly recommend Pool Craft. We have always wanted a pool for many years and we finally did it! From our first meeting with Rick we knew Pool Craft was who we were going to have install it. The installation went extremely well. Everyone involved were professional from start to finish. We were always kept informed of what the next steps were right from day one. A huge thank you to Rick, Chris K, and Mark for all your help throughout the whole process. It’s been almost 2 weeks that we have been enjoying our dream of owning a pool. I have not missed a day of swimming! Thank you so much for everything! You are a great company to have worked with.

Amazing experience. Everyone at pool craft was beyond wonderful to work with, from the initial introduction meeting, to the 3D rendering, right through to the very end. The landscapers (the twins) were truly great to work with and even treated our place better than we do - taking extra care to make sure every stone and every piece of sod was laid just perfectly. It’s amazing what they were able to do with such a small backyard. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.The results speak for themselves. Photos of the finished product attached.

Pool Craft is a top notch pool installer, supplier and service company. They installed our in-ground pool in 2015, did a great job, and we were swimming within 5 weeks after starting to dig, including landscaping. Highly recommended and n the GTA.

We had a fantastic experience using Pool Craft to custom build our swimming pool. I would like to personally think Rick, Chris, Jessica, Johnny, Bobby, and all the Pool Craft staff for all their excellent customer service. They are professional and hard-working, and always find great solutions to make our vision come to reality!
