Sekaino Ink - Traditional Irezumi (Japanese Tattoo)

I have delayed getting an Irezumi for a while now. I contacted Horisekai after looking up his portfolio online. He was highly efficient in responding back with my idea, which is often a rarity when booking a consultation with other shops.During the consultation, he ran with my idea, what elements I wanted in it and provided his opinion which helped me formulate my ideas into something solid and realistic.The studio itself was an immaculate and comfortable area. Very clean and orderly as well.The experience with Horisekai gave the impression that he was passionate and talented. The art and design of my Irezumi confirmed that he had experience and skill to formulate my vague idea into a type of spiritual armour.There is no other place I would get an Irezumi.Thank you

What an amazing experience it was, getting tattooed by Horisekai the Horishi! He is the most humble, honest artist I have ever met, and his work is truly a piece of art. From the moment we met for a consultation, he was extremely accommodating and understanding of what I needed. There was not a single moment where I felt awkward explaining what it is that I would like to have done nor felt uncomfortable discussing the design. The private studio is very quiet and clean and there were no distractions of any sort. His attention to detail is astounding and his hand is so smooth that even when he was going over sensitive spots it felt like a light touch. I highly recommend you reach out to him if you want a proper Irezumi done, you won’t regret it. In my humble opinion no one comes even close to what he does. Words can’t even describe how real and down to earth Horisekai is. Also I couldn't be more thankful for the genuine life advices he has given me during our sessions together. The studio is kept very neat, tidy and private so there are no distractions nor interruptions from external sources. In terms of the work- truly a world class experience and I'm glad to have chosen him as my Horishi so thank you.

Sekaino ink is an incredible experience. It was important to me to have a calm atmosphere and a private studio when getting my Irezumi done. It is far more than just getting a tattoo at a shop. This was most definitely a journey with the Horishi being my guide/teammate. He was more than accommodating to my situation especially having to travel across the US/Canada border on 4 separate occasions. His work is master class. His character and studio are second to none. First of all, thank you so so much!!I got a cover up done on my chest and full arm sleeve by Horishi(Horisekai) at Sekaino Ink and it was the best experience I have had.In the past, I went to a well known parlour where I got my previous/old work done for my very first tattoo and unlike what I had thought it had gone terribly wrong.From where I had gotten the old work where I had to eventually put a stop, there have been 0 direction, there were mistakes after mistakes, and I was rather instructing the former artist how to do his original work. At that point, I was very frustrated and I felt taken advantage of just for the money.After my first bad experience/mistake, I ended up looking elsewhere to get a cover up done so I searched for reputable places. I emailed a bunch of studios and finally chose Sekaino Ink. This was due to how sincere and professional the Horishi was.On the day of my consultation, I knew that he was the one.
