Black Diamond Electrical

I recently used Ronan and Black Diamond Electrical to do some electrical work on my townhouse in Whistler and was very pleased with the work. Ronan was prompt, conscientious, quickly understood my requirements, and even made some helpful suggestions. He was able to install a ceiling fixture and fan in a location where there was no fixture before – not an easy task when there is no attic access! I will definitely use them for any future work I need done and have no hesitation in recommending this company

Being new to the area and having purchased a pre-owned townhome it was in need of a few electrical upgrades. Not knowing any electrical contractors in the Whistler area it was my good fortune to see a truck with the lettering Black Diamond Electrical. I called the number and spoke to Ronan who seemed knowledgeable, experienced and willing. I decided to begin with one job … to install a fan on a high pitched ceiling in my Great Room. This wasn’t as easy as it looked as it required access through a small crawl space, cutting a hole for the electrical box, reinforcing the supports due to weight and vibration, bringing new electrical cable to the box, installing a wall switch and eventually mounting the fan and light. And, he had the good sense to ask whether I would be wanting any other ceiling lights in the future. As it is a consideration he did what was necessary to prepare for future lighting in that room.Ronan made it look easy which is why we hire professionals in the first place. I now have a laundry list of new work for him and suggest you would find him to be every bit as professional and pleasurable to work with as I did. The cost for parts and labour was reasonable and competitive. I would highly recommend Ronan for jobs big and small.

Very professional and prompt service

Great experience using Black Diamond Electrical (Ronan). He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I originally just had him in to replace four light switches, but also decided on the spot to replace nine pot lights to freshen up the condo. He was reasonably priced, efficient, friendly and showed up exactly when he said he would!!! He's a great addition to Whistler's tradespeople. Book Ronan before he gets too busy!

Ronan is one of the best choices if you need a Whistler electrician. He was able to install our electric vehicle charger and trouble shoot one of the issues we had with it. Works great now.
