Signature Aluminum Canada Inc

I came to this company with high hopes and a positive attitude, but there's very little respect from some co workers, covid masks ARE NOT worn properly. You get yelled at for the smallest mistake you make. There's nobody training you so your led to guess on instructions which are 70% of the time correct. Nobody has told me how to use the provided info to complete my task im guessing all day. Its easier to stand there and get nothing wrong rather than to think ahead and be treated poorly in return. If you make a mistake for something you haven't done before your met with swearing, attitude, all while working in an attempt to not get yelled at rather than to achieving the end goal.

Great company that treats both customers and employees right. A joy to have in the area!

Horrible work environment. This company has no foreseeable future. The atmosphere and workforce here are as equally as toxic. They'll try to sell you on the fact that they are safety concerned but that's an out right joke. Training is virtually non-existent. You'll be thrown to the wolves. Have questions about your job? While some may show you the ropes others will respond extremely rudely or with attitude. And they wonder why they have poor employee retention. Do not expect fair treatment in the workplace either. This establishment is nothing more than an abysmal scrap yard.

I am a probationary employee in the Casting Dept at Signature Aluminum Canada in Pickering ON.I have been employed only since November 2022. I became ill suddenly, and missed a significant amount of time there.The entire company, including my co-workers have been absolutely wonderful to me.The HR Dept, has assured me that my job is protected and also have sent their blessings for a speedy recovery and they told me again this afternoon, to stop worrying and to just look after myself.I see a very disgruntled person's comments posted here, and I would like to add, sure the casting area is dirty

Loved working here as a summer student in the extrusion department. The heat of the workplace and the rotating continental shift is something to get used to but if you look past it, there are a multitude of benefits to working here: decent pay, nice treatment and camaraderie with colleagues, actually learn something about the industry as its not a mindless labor job, great incentives to work. I plan to work here in the summer again, as long as they'll have me.
