Paddle Surfit

Never paddle boarded before. Bodie and his family were really helpful with good advice. He had a huge board for our family of 5. We had a great day on the lake - a really beautiful place to explore. If you’re in the Sun Peaks area and up for SUPing, these people have what you need.

This was the summer I finally bought myself a SUP. So this wasn’t the original SUP. I’d bought a Costco one! However, after checking out Bodie Shandro at paddlesurfit.com I started rethinking that decision. Long story short. Original SUP returned and I purchased The Escape, (comes with full kit and backpack), designed and manufactured by Bodie. And what’s the point of a SUP if you do t take lessons. I did from the best professional instructor at his stunning location on beautiful Heffley Lake. Even a loon popped up while we were out on our boards. Bodie was super friendly & relaxed host! Made us feel really welcome & we got to chill out on his jetty while enjoying amazing paddle boarding in a stunning location! He was also extremely professional & gave excellent safety instructions. A really enjoyable afternoon by tranquil water!

What an incredible and memorable experience. A truly authentic stand up paddle board experience. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful, there was no one else on the lake apart from us. Bodie was so welcoming and really made the experience special. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to paddle board in Kamloops.

We had a wonderful time paddleboarding on Lake Heffley. Bodie was great and although we had paddled a few times before,he gave us some great additional tips. The lake was beautiful and we had great freedom to paddle(and swim) anywhere on the lake we wanted. The drive is well signed to locate where you need to park. Easily one of the best paddleboarding experiences we have had thanks to Bodie! Highly recommend.

One of the best and sweetest experiences I had in renting a paddle board. Brenda is super nice and helpful, and accommodated a time for us out of their regular schedule.The lake is also very beautiful, beer peaceful, and with clear and somehow warm water at the time of our visit.I definitely recommend this place to spend time and rent water sports gear.

Our group was fairly new to paddle boarding and Brodie was professional, took water safety seriously and even though we brought some gear; he was adamant that it met the proper codes and standards. With his orientation and support it made the group feel confident we were in good hands. Definitely a positive experience and would highly recommend.Thanks for having us.
