Lots of good eats here at this local-centric deli. Stroll along Bloor West and drop in for some unexpected pantry items, to stock up on Fever-Tree tonics, or for the wide range of prepared foods. Hungry right now for a take-home meal? This is the spot.

Their hot table rocks!Tried the brisquet during the Bloor West festival on July 16th and it was absolutely delicious!!!Thanks a ton to the staff who was there that day for suggesting it. I went in originally to grab a sandwich and they recommended the hot table. My only regret is that we only bought 1 portion and when we arrived at home we immediately craved for at least 2 more one for myself and another one for my wife.Will be back to try all their other options.

Max’s market provided the appetizers for our wedding. There was a wide variety and everything was single serving and so delicious! Especially the little roast beef sandwiches!

I got two desserts, We haven't try yet. The store is cleaned, the service is slower but of course because of the pandemic. They still having nice options of food, like crackers, cheese, and desserts. Love it

I'm a regular shopper here. I buy from them nearly 2-3 times per week. It's expensive but I like the food and enjoy the variety. Most of the staff there are very nice and helpful, some are down right charming. But there's this one young one who just seems so sour often, and when she's nice, it's that obvious fake" nice. Today she (not so obviously) didn't even want to serve me and had another woman do it. Don't know what that's about

I love this place, and hate to see it going downhill. The food is very good, but these days their displays look increasingly empty. I am also finding the new staff not helpful at all.

You know why you come here if you do. The prices are nothing to cheer about always but the selection is. Max’s Market is a long standing local market for those with a gourmet taste. They have a wide selection of cheeses and deli products at a usual price with even more prepared meal options for dinner or a event. I have had no complaints with anyone working there and they even have in house made chips. Like I said if you are trying to budget your diet this place may not be for you but for those with a gourmet passion you will find it all.

Excellent cheese selection (5 Brothers, yum!) and pretty decent for Italian and other imported prepared foods. Yes, a little pricey but not so much as to be an issue - especially since, thank heaven, they open at a decent hour in the morning (9 a.m.) unlike a number of places on Roncey that can't be bothered to open their doors until 11 or even later.
