I had been stuck in the snow, and when some friendly strangers pushed me out, the ice hit something under my car, and I started dragging something. They fit me in right away, but between work and the weather, I had to reschedule twice. The third time was a charm. They were extremely professional, especially with the disaster that is the inside of my car. They fixed the latch that was dragging, three new wipers, and a new battery for a bit over $400, which was reasonable. Thanks!

I enjoyed my visit todaythe staff at Canadian Tire went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and readily available to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Whether I needed help locating a specific item or sought advice on a particular product, their expertise and willingness to help were truly commendable. It was evident that the employees were passionate about their work and genuinely cared about providing top-notch customer service.I bought all I needed and came home satisfied

Look out for the rent-a-cop at the door. Don’t give him your receipt. Go to Home Depot instead. He also makes smart comments about banning customers. Not sure how you can ban someone when you're not the stores management.

New franchisee/dealer, new problem.First off, let me say that my family was in the hardware store business. I appreciate how shrinkage affects the bottom line.Given the above, allow me to state how unnecessarily rude and confrontational your security guards are. Once I've paid for something, it ceases to become the property of the retailer, I am now the owner of said property. The guard has no more right to inspect my property than I do his. You can ban me, but ultimately it only hurts the bottom line of your particular store and tarnishes the reputation of Canadian Tire.Corporate states that the franchisee/dealer can decide on their own security policies and that Canadian Tire Corporation has no say in the matter. The behaviour of these security guards should be of great concern to CTC and I would urge the executive team, and most importantly, the legal team to review and revise the appropriate sections of the dealer agreements. Doing so may prevent potential liabilities in future.Speaking as a consumer, I will vote with my wallet Amazon sells the majority of the products that CT does for less and will deliver to my door in a day or two. Home Depot, Rona and Home Hardware are available to meet all other needs for building supplies, higher quality tools, etc. as they are true hardware stores. Better yet, they actually treat me as a valued customer (even Amazon!) and a human being.

Dropped by today to pick up a wiper blade. After checking the aisle and the electronic menu, no rear wiper listed, see parts counter. Stood third in line at the counter, after 20 minutes without assistance walked out. CTC used to be my go to store. No more, poor customer service and lack of employees has driven me away. As a closing act, multiple security and employees yelling at a obviously challenged man, who was yelling back. Sad to see a incident escalate due to security escalating instead of defusing.

Called inquiring about an air filter for a 2003 Mercedes. Excellent customer service. Unfortunately no listing of air filter. Was told to contact the dealer.

Auto Service.A 2007 Dodge Caravan was returned to me, after not recieving much maintenance from the family. One of the issues was 'nose diving' when braking. The front and rear suspension were soft contributing to this issue; however, was hopeful attention to the rear brakes would temporarily 'solve' issue. The knowledgeable staff( service advisors and mechanics) advised a proper remedy but I resisted and just kept doing one thing at a time in the end they were correct. As much as I try to 'nickel and dime' a temporary solution, they tolerated my requests while attempting to save me time and money. When there was a disagreement Ben( Service advisor) handled it with a calm professionalism. In conclusion I am very happy with the way that it drives and handles because of  their efforts and 'work' was exemplary and for them accommodating to my schedule is appreciated. Thank you it is a pleasure to drive mechanically.

Made a purchase at Canadian Tire and I am a law abiding citizen however a security goon asked to see my receipt. When I pointed out that legally I didn’t have to show it to him while I was handing it to him, he advised that as a private company they didn’t have to accept me as a customer. I already paid and if I didn’t have to be somewhere I would have returned the goods. So if that how you feel Canadian Tire I will just ship at your competitors such as Home Depot, Lowes and Home Hardware moving forward. Maybe you should train your security goons to keep their smart mouths to themselves.

Waited 20 minutes for something that normally takes 2. Apparently spark plugs are kept behind the counter now which is fine IF someone actually tended to the counter. They can't even figure out who's responsible for tending to it and argue over it in front of customers. Effectively useless, just go to a different location.
