This is one of best places to buy groceries (including fish, chicken and beef) in Quebec City. I have visited places like Wallmart, Metro, Provigo to buy groceries. But Maxi is cheapest among all of them. This particular Maxi can be reached by the following public buses: 804, 77 (stop Frontenelle), 74, 84 (stop A. Baume). The staffs are very well behaved. There is a Dollarama next to it. You can also find a Tim Horton near this in case you need to eat something.

It's a decent supermarket, the cheapest of them all in Quebec and not for the worst quality either. Their meat is often quite cheap and decent in quality, not nearly as great as a local butcher shop but that's to be expected. Fruit and veggies are almost always fresh, once again not the best but you get what you pay for and often more.

Prices are good but shop looks dirty. Staff is very different - some offer good customer service while others leave you with the impression that you are at least not welcome.

Prices are cheaper than some other groceries, reward program is so-so, on most occasions they will not carry all products I'm looking for my grocery needs.
