Dollarama

A typical Dollarama experience, until we got to the cash. They refuse to serve you now, pointing to the self-checkout machines. Behind me was a lady with a lot of stuff and specifically asked for the guy to serve her at the cashier counter. He refused. The queue was at least 10 people long and he still wouldn't serve anyone.

The store is great until its time to checkout. The self checkouts don't work and keeps stalling. Trying to find someone working that will help you is useless. It's not worth the frustration

i bought the Montoy Slime Rave but the box had a burn mark and i had a terrible bmell

MY DAUGHTER WAS RACIALLY PROFILED BY A STAFF. WE WERE SIDE BY SIDE PAYING FOR OUR STUFF AND THE STAFF STOOD BEHIND MY DAUGHTER AND THEN ASKED IF SHE PAID FOR A 50 CENT BAG. ASKED to see her receipt. Never asked to see mines. Like really....a 50 cent bag??!!! I will never shop there again. As a matter of fact not at any dollaramas.

My only problem here is that they depend too much on self-checkouts, but for me that's a big problem, I refuse to use self checkouts. I've come here multiple times and had trouble getting service at the checkout. Today there was no one in sight and I ended up leaving all my items at the checkout and walking out. There are two Dollarams I can stop at on my way home that actually staff their stores properly, Ill try not to make the mistake of coming to this location in the future if I can help it

They have great birthday cards and birthday bags... i'd rather go to this dollarama than the other ones because this one is near and it has nice stuff in stock

This store has THE most aggressive manager I have ever seen. Joanna was rude to a point where I actually inquired what was bothering her and why she was taking a needlessly aggressive tone and physical stance towards us. I went in requesting a return of an item that was faulty. Clearly didn't work and I could prove it. Was immediately attacked being told all sales are final and had my receipt pointed in my face with the clear print on no return, no exchange. I said I wasn't aware and I do understand, was ready to walk away, though shocked at the attitude. Was then proactively attacked about why I had removed the tags from the item if I wanted them returned. I was genuinely shocked as to why I was being treated like a criminal, especially in the presence of my son! I then told her that she can perhaps be kinder and more professional in her approach and understand that I am merely asking a question and not once did I push or challenge her. I left the items there, as I asked her name, which she quite proudly threw at me. Wow. Genuinely shocked and disappointed about what I witnessed here.

Be Aware!!! They don't have any return and exchange policy, though it's a big store. Neither outside or inside the store they have mentioned about their no returns policy!!! However, once you check out, at the bottom of the bill it says no returns or exchange and then you're not able to get a return or exchange for any of your item.

As I approached one of the staff to ask if they have stocks of what I’m looking for, SHE don’t even look at me but instead keep on doing something else. It was NOT A NICE EXPERIENCE GOING TO THIS STORE.
