Our server Jenny was very kind and patient with us, even with the kids at the table and the servers were speedy at getting our drinks and refilling water, thank you for your service. :D

First time in this location. Lots of table, fast service. Young was our server and she did great. She was prompt and took great care of us. Food was nice, good quality and way more options than other Mandarins. The live BBQ section was great. Will come again.

Naomi provided great service. Even when the location was bit busy for the evening. Would recommend to dine out.July 10, 2023. Great food and service again. My server was top notch. Very friendly and on top of things. Also, the manager is very friendly and always greets you at your table.

Easy meal for families. The fish tanks entertained my 4 and 6 year old endlessly. Also there is cotton candy here now which also blew their minds.Server (Noel) was lovely and everything was great.

First of all, in one word, this is no awesome buffet Chinese restaurant. They have a great variety of dishes. We didn't have chance to taste all the dishes since we were already full with the items we chose. The price you pay here is worthy since you get some experience items such as baked salmon, crab, varieties of shrimps, oysters, sushi bar, and so forth. We were amazed to see their dessert menus, they have everything including ice-cream. The ambience is great for dine in. I would definitely recommend this place for your buffet meal.

It's a very good Mandarin location. Lots of seating space and tables, clean, excellent service as you expect at Mandarin, and the food is fresh and hot. The sushi bar here is efficient and replaces empty rolls fairly fast. The torpedo shrimp and chicken wings are classic favorites. My tip: don't fill up on buns and desserts. Get to the meat, fish, fancier dishes and good veggies.

The Upper James location does it again! It's the Canada Day Celebration for the month of July and the special menu items are delicious. It's still one of the best locations with fresh variety of foods. Mike was our server and he provided excellent service. He is also a great photographer. The Mandarin still provides birthday photos! It's so nostalgic! The manager was also here and visited our table to check in and thanked us for coming.Highly recommend Upper James Street location in Hamilton, you will not be disappointed! - July 10, 2023-

We came on St. Patrick’s day to celebrate our son’s birthday. We had Mike assisting at our table. Best experience. Best food. Kindness, professionalism and made us all feel like we are family. Thank you for the birthday wishes and the wonderful photo. We will be back soon.

Amy was a wonderful server, she was always on top on our drinks and plates. She was very courteous to all of us and I would 10/10 come again
