We stayed at the Parks Canada “Tunnel Mountain Village II” campground,. You can even call the Domino’s Pizza for a pizza delivery to your campsite!

I give 5 stars because the place is very well taken care of. We waited until too late in the day to get a spot so we're in over flow but it was still great

Very convenient campsite. The view is also very good and wide. There is unlimited hot water for the shower and fire woods. The whole camp looks like a RV show and is not tenter friendly. Privacy is also slightly worse. But very easy to get in and out of the RV. The attractions across the road are also worth a visit. Not too far from the town centre to hang out in the bar in the evening.

1000 campsites! Not really camping? More of a drive in RV park. No swimming pool though. Great hiking trails around the outside of the campground"."

Beautiful place, gorgeous Mountain View’s. Spots in Tunnel Mountain 2 are like parking alongside a road. Quiet at night. Easy access to public transport.

This is a great place to camp when you are planning to visit surrounding areas during the day. We felt safe enough to leave our tents up with some of our belongings in it during the day while we were away, which is not always the case with camping. Our biggest complaint with camping here is that while they provide firewood, it is left uncovered in a pile. When we stayed there in October, it had snowed and all of the firewood was wet. It took us an hour to get a fire going enough to cook food. I feel like a simple structure with a roof, a covered bin, or even a tarp would be enough to prevent such a simple issue, especially if you are going to be open in colder months where camping pretty much requires a campfire.

I loved the campground lots of nice people around. However we were unable to find any unicorns. After hours of searching we have decided they do not live in banff sadly.
