Taber Municipal Park
Campdate: June 29-July 2, 2021Got lucky for an immediate booking. Our site was clean and spacious. Lots of trees but not too private. Due to heat warning, water sprinkles were on for a few hours during the day. Close to Oldman river and about 10 mins from town. Plus free firewood and no fee for the washroom showers. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We have been here a few times now, the grounds were clean, well maintained, and quiet. The camp posts were amazingly friendly and very helpful. This location is not far away from our home, but has quickly become one of our favorite homes away from home.The spaces are generous in size even for motorhomes (ours is 31 Ft) and we still had lots of room. Our teenage girls loved the showers, the free firewood is a huge added bonus, the Sani-dump is clean, and the river and trails around the campground are a huge added bonus.We are booked already again, and will be there more often if we can.

Taber Municipal Park
This is one of those jems that you find from time to time, beautiful spot, Taber is a small town and didn't expect such a nice park. Situated about 5 km North of the town, in a valley filled with huge old cottonwood trees (I think), there are play grounds, volley ball areas, 30 amp service to all sites, most are back in but there are a number of pull through for the larger rigs. Very much a family campground, it also has two group site areas. You will not be disappointed.

Great place for a get away. Lots of fun for the family and has a river near by to swim in. The cost is reasonable and they have electric lots for trailers. They have a great little playground and camp kitchens. Come on down and check it out.

Great campground, Only 15 & 30 amp but they had water to fill up if needed. Very peaceful and great staff. Lots for kids to do. Our site had 2 large trees which shaded our site. As well we had some visitors camp in the tree on our site. lol

Been a few years since camping at Taber MD Park / ProV . The park is very well maintained, nice long trails, both along the river and up into the hills. Sandy beach area with river swimming, shallow and great for kids. Saw lots of flora and fauna. Overall a great time.

My fiancee and I spent lastsummer there for 2 weeks,very clean and scenic walking the trail. We are planning on going back again this year.

We had stayed here last in the flood of 2013. The Municipality of Taber has done an amazing job of restoring the Park. It is a Beautiful setting. Pull thrus are amazing. They are wide and long enough for our Ram duelly and 30 ft 5th wheel! The sites could do with more gravel as it was raining and quite muddy yesterday. The park is very well laid out great sites, 15 Amp back in sites and 30amp pull thrus. There are several play areas for kids and soccer field, baseball field, great trail, showers, free fire wood. Peaceful and quiet. Recommend booking ahead. They have a great website. Booking must be done 24 hours before arrival. Thank you for a great stay.
