The guys built my 2002 Subaru Impreza, lifted with an H6 engine swap, and equipped for the gravel roads I drive regularly - they even had a second alignment done because they weren't satisfied with how the first one handled! 70,000km later, they replaced some Tyrod ends, struts, and managed to get some new rotors, a caliper and pads in record time, and had my car back running perfect so I can bomb 500km of gravel and frost heaves again as fast as I want. The next trip out, I had to brake hard and swerve at the last moment to avoid a deer, and everything worked perfect. I still love my car, and my car still loves me! Safety and quality.

Can't say enough good about this shop and specifically Adam's troubleshooting ability. Was on a trip with a Subaru converted Vanagon when it developed an intermittent fault that did not show codes. This only occurred on the highway. Van was cutting out bad. Couldn't accelerate.The shop tried for a couple of hours but couldn't find anything wrong and I could not replicate the fault for them. Nothing worse than weird stuff like this. All kinds of tricks were tried and likely parts swapped with spares.So maybe just a loose connection? Who knows . Off I go again.1/2 hour outside town it start acting up again. So back I go.Adam strapped a data logger to it and I started to drive it until it acted up again then I went back. Mechanic jumped in and off we went. To cut a long story short, It was a very odd failure related to a faulty speed sensor that was an add on part and not subaru or VW. No faults or codes just very short cuts hard to spot. Weird tools, subaru grave yards, dyno time, outside experts, every resource pulled in to fix the problem.Adam would not give up even after I was fed up and ready to call it quits. Went way beyond what could be even hoped for from a shop. Very impressed with his troubleshooting abilities. Made our trip happen.Will have to go back with my motorbike to put it on that dyno...Thanks Adam.

Had my JDM 2003 WRX STi tuned with AFR and it was a great experience! Craig was easy to communicate with and it was great of Adam to talk about the inspection and tuning results. They were welcoming and didn't mind answering my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to them for regular servicing if I lived in Red Deer. I drove down from Edmonton to let them tune my car and it was well worth it. I'll be back when it's time for power upgrades! Looking forward to seeing my dyno charts as well. Thanks again AFR team!

Wow.What a bunch of great guys, super knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful.Super impressed with the results of the Cobb Access Port on my 2022 WRX. Been out today and put a few more miles on it, amazing, the difference is transformational., from the stock tune. 3rd gear pulls are super impressive. Drivability right through the range is 100%, docile in town and in traffic until you step on the GO pedal.Once again very impressed with your friendliness, knowledge and willingness to help with my questions.If you have tuning questions about your car, DONT speak to anyone else until you have connected with AFR.Great job guys, I'll be back.Terry

Can't say enough good things about AFR Autoworks and their whole staff. Always take care of my care with great parts and amazing service. From basic maintenance to building the fastest version of your car these guys do it all, and do it better than anyone else.

Customer service is terrible. I emailed them inquiring about a tune for my car last month and they responded to me asking questions and I would respond back but they just stop responding. I would write follow up emails but they still don’t respond. I believe last week I emailed again hoping if they would answer me this time. They email back asking the same questions and I respond and then they stop responding again. I write a follow up email and they still don’t respond.

Recently had a great experience at AFR. Came in for a tune for my JDM legacy. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. Adam did a fantastic job with the tune and problem solving some ecu compatibility issues. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I have a 2004 WRX that has been swapped with a JDM EJ205 and is pretty high mileage. They've made this car behave like it's 10 years newer than it is. These guys have always been super patient and helpful given that this is my first turbo Subaru. They've also helped me save money and stress. Genuinely awesome crew they have and always a joy to chat with too. Only shop that will touch my Subaru.

Whether you booking work or just stopping by to chat AFR is always a great place to be. The work they did on my Golf R was of the highest quality and completed right on schedule. The car is a rocket and rock solid as a daily driver thanks to Adam's tuning, Tony's fab work, and the other super talented guys in the back. I wouldn't imagine taking my cars anywhere else.

I like the guys here. Friendly, easy going, and very knowledgeable about a variety of vehicles, particularly the import crowd. The dyno test they did for me took less time than they planned, so they were fair and charged me less than they quoted. They seem very capable of a variety of auto work. I recommend them!
