CoWork at the Cotton Factory

CoWork at the Cotton Factory is such a delightful space to work in! There's plenty of light, big windows, high ceilings, quiet music to work along to, food options, coffee, internet + an entire building to explore when I need to stretch my legs. The other businesses and entrepreneurs here are from vastly different sectors of the community which contributes to the diversity of the space. The building itself is a feast for the imagination and provides ample inspiration to work and tackle my to-do list. The Lunch and Learns, concerts and other events add even more value to this already happening hub. Anything I need - whether it be business wise or otherwise, there's someone at the Cotton Factory who specializes in it. Never a dull day!

I’ve been at Cotton Factory now for a couple of years and I cannot day enough positive things about the space and community. The CoWork is friendly, cozy and always caffeinated :) and the staff are lovely!

I walked into CoWork at the Cotton Factory during the middle of COVID-19. It was the first on a list of co-work spaces I found on Google. I did not need to see the others. The friendly voice of Annette Paiement welcomed me into the space. She is the Managing Director of CoWork. She gave me a tour and explained the different options but I just felt so “at home” in the space that I could not imagine working anywhere else. I later learned that just about everyone who works there likes something about the space that they find very hard to describe. Maybe it's the history of the building or the care with which the space has been brought back to life or the creativity of the people that CoWork attracts or all of these qualities. It's more than an office. It’s a healthy respectful community. Whatever it is about CoWork, I feel so good there that I get about 10X more work completed than I do at home. It has to be great because GO Transit takes me three hours each way to get there and I am still more productive and happier than I am at home in Guelph.

I have been working out of the CoWork space in The Cotton Factory for 6 months now and I truly couldn't be happier. After a few years of working from home, I was lonely and sick of trying to find free spots at local coffee shops. The atmosphere here is great, people are friendly and my little nook is perfect. I like that I can pop on my headphones and people really respect your work flow but also knowing there is usually someone to chat with when I feel social. Each day at lunch the CoWork kitchen has a local restaurant in to provide a $10 catered lunch, so if you aren't into meal prep, this is a life saver! The team here is friendly and I find I actually look forward to coming in and getting some work done. You can't be the look or feel of this building, the natural light is absolute perfection. The mix of artisans and businesses make for a great atmosphere. I highly recommend coming to check out this building!

Chill vibes only. I've worked at this beautiful space for a couple months now and the people and space are great for productivity. Some days it's quiet, but even when it's not you can still get work done and make a friend!Coffee's pretty good, tea selection could use a re-up.

Great open space to work, free parking in Hamilton, WiFi and all the good stuff for low monthly fees. I was able to get a tour in about a day and started working that same week!
