Great Lakes Dental Care

Friendly and totally pain free every time!! I’ve moved a lot in my life so I’ve had to switch dentists more than I would have liked. I’m making Great Lakes Dental my permanent home, by far the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. They really really care about their patients!!!!

Been too many dentists. Great Lakes Dental Care rates among the best. Why? My regular dentist there is dr. Nightingale. Very friendly, takes his time, explains every step of what is happening during the process. He is highly knowledgeable in dentistry, orthodontics and medicine in general. 5 stars. I also like the hygenists, front desk staff is super. They dont call you too nag you every few weeks to 'remind' you your due for a cleaning. Thanks.Janet

I visited the dentist office as a new patient and the appointment booking, follow-up, visit and the actual procedure were extremely professional. The front desk staff, the dental hygienist and the doctor were knowledgeable, helpful and I felt really comfortable. Before I left the office, I was given a price breakdown and the next appointment. Overall, I am glad that I accidentally bumped into this practice as I was searching for a nnew dental place!!

Both the front end staff and back end staff are very approachable and professional. I have been coming here for a while now, and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.All my questions are answered in a way I can understand, and the care I receive by the dentist and support staff is excellent!Thank you Janet & Jess

I know nothing about this dental practice other than their Oakville location have continued calling me for about 5 years, on a regulat basis, although I have never been a patient. I am sure they are nice people, probably good dentists. But me emailing, texting, phoning them, nobody listens; they continue to remind" me about appointments for somebody else with same name or some guy named Scott. "I am not the teeth you are looking for.""

I've been dealing with Great Lakes Dental for many years and have been to various locations. Dr. Park is my favourite and his staff is great. I just had a cleaning today and everything went smoothly as usual. I'd like to reach out to the person complaining that they don't have a play area for children? What's wrong with you? It's a Dentist, not Mcdonald's! You need to take care of your kids, not other people. I would recommend Great Lakes to anyone!

Because this dentist is a couple blocks away from my house and because of one fantastic hygienist (Pavan) I’ve been going here for years, but my patience is running out. Always had Pavan, and despite the revolving door of dentists, the service was fine. Then a few years ago I was given a different hygienist, despite booking with Pavan. I was told she was great, but then she dug a chip out of a tooth while scaling (practice acknowledged this). I now have pretty severe intermittent sensitivity. I should have sued them, and did switch dentists, but due to a mix up at the new practice (which would have delayed a scheduled cleaning by 8 months) ended up back here, on the condition that only Pavan clean my teeth. Problem is a few years ago she switched to only one day a week, so now I get far fewer cleanings than I used to because I have to wait minimum 6 months to get in. Booked a cleaning with Pavan 6.5 months ago for today. Came in for my appointment 10 minutes early, then waited 30 minutes to find out that Pavan was “off” today. Refused to have another hygienist do the cleaning, and now am stuck trying to find another slot (likely months from now). The most frustrating thing is Pavan was scheduled off (not an emergency or anything) so the practice knew well in advance. Further, it says explicitly in my file (they read it to me) that I would see Pavan only. So all the information was there prior to my appointment to call me to reschedule. I’m done. Worst run practice I’ve ever seen. Revolving door of dentists (don’t even know who owns the place). Inexperienced hygienists that chip your teeth during routine cleanings. And admin that is too disorganized to check a schedule (seems all they can do is pre-book next appointment then let their auto reminder system take over). People should know. You don’t get this crappy a rating by being even passably acceptable. Go somewhere else.

I absolutely HATE going to the dentist! I have to mentally prepare myself weeks in advance, even if it is just for a cleaning. Although I despise going to the dentist I really love seeing the staff at the clinic. Everyone is so friendly and personable. This includes the front desk staff, all the hygienists and Dr. Janet Han. This truly makes the patient experience much easier for me.My husband and I have been going to this clinic for over 5 years and we are extremely happy with the service. Dr. Han is amazing! She clearly explains the procedure to me and has empathy and understanding for my anxiety.I highly recommend this dental clinic. Ladies, YOU are the BEST!

Went there with an emergency because it was close to my home, treatment was immediate and complete. Prices reasonable, the doctor and staff knowledgeable and very helpful. Apart from fixing whatever was wrong, they managed also to convey the message that they cared for my problems. I have rarely - if ever - seen this level of customer care in the last 15 years. Highly recommended.

Have been coming here for years. All the staff have excellent customer service skills and the dentists/hygienists are very knowledgeable.
