Craig installed new hand rails on 2 flights of stairs in my home. He did a really nice job, paying attention to detail, and cleaning up thoroughly once he was done. He was great at communicating, and he was reasonably priced for the work. Will definitely work with him again :)

It can be difficult to fully relax on vacation when you have to worry about the safety of your home.We enlisted the help of Craig of Noyes Handyman Services while we were on vacation this winter. Craig brought our mail and checked on our home. He even made sure our pipes didn't freeze with the multiple below 0 days we had. He kept me abreast of scheduling times and kept his word on the date and time of service. Craig did a great job and was such a pleasure to work with. There is a new master craftsman in the Northeast Kingdom. We discovered Craig Noyes when we needed a deck added to our house in downtown Newport. I had many handymen respond to my front porch forum request but Craig was the first. He was responsive, professional and he sent me a quote! He's insured, he's efficient and I think my house was cleaner after he left than when he arrived. Working with Craig has been a pleasure. When I first contacted him to do finish work on our enclosed porch, he replied immediately, came on time to look at the scope of work, took lots of notes/pictures and went over them with me, asking questions to clarify. When I asked about two small projects, he was honest about the fact that he might be too expensive and suggested I contact another person to do the jobs. He also gladly finished work that was left undone by another contractor.He was prompt with his estimates, clearly stated when he would be at the house to work, arrived on time, went over what he planned for the day and at the end of his day, went over what he had left. When looking for someone to watch your home while away it’s difficult to find someone you can trust. Thankfully I found Craig. I requested that Craig bring in my mail/packages and leave tracks in the driveway to leave the appearance that someone was home.My home has exterior cameras and I saw Craig bringing in my mail everyday. I even saw Craig (on the cameras) walking the perimeter of my house in the deep snow just to cover his basis. He even checked my propane tanks to make sure I wasn’t too low! When I returned home I found that Craig shoveled my walk and placed the mail from each day in its on neat pile. Craig is trustworthy, reliable and has attention to detail.
