Equipment Express Cochrane

I’m really glad my husband is alive. It was because I bought the mark II and only because of that. We brought our chainsaw in to Equipment Express in Cochran to get the chain sharpened and for $20 my husband could be dead. They didn’t tighten the chain lug nuts up after sharpening the chain and the chain came off while he was using the saw. The guard was the only thing that saved his life. And now I need to buy a new chain because it broke when it hit the guard. I understand they are busy, however there is no excuse for not doing safety checks on a young employee work. I feel scared to every use there services again.

I had a less than memorable first experience with Equipment Express Cochrane. Thankfully Steven stepped in fixed everything. He went above and beyond to recognize my concerns and to do what he could to make it right. Acknowledging and correcting is all I could ask for.Thanks Steven. Old Review that was previously deleted:Brought my 1 year old mower in for estimate on repair this summer after mowing over a tree root. Was told by the Master Mechanic the mower was toast, crankshaft was bent and likely sheared off, adapter was bent, and estimated repair would likely be around $450. I was then advised against repair, as the cost was only an estimate, and could be more (not including replacing seals after cracking the motor, etc...) and their cost to buy the same machine new was $520. Brought in for a second opinion to a shop in Calgary, and was advised that the flywheel key had sheared, Crank was not bent or sheared, and they replaced the blade adapter/mower blade. The cost to repair was $3 for the key, $42 for the blade adapter and $60 for labour (to which I gladly paid!!). I had an extra blade I had already picked up, to which they installed for free.Would recommend going elsewhere for Service, as a Master Mechanic should know better.

I've never had an issue with this vendor. Prices are as good or better than big box and staff much more familiar with the product.

The staff at Equipment express Cochrane are fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. I brought in 2 saws I inherited from a grandparent, one of which was not salvageable the other recieved a great servicing.They went above and beyond in providing service, both to the machines and communication with myself. I will happily recommend this shop to anyone looking at chainsaws, and small engine servicing.

Have been hear twice over 5 years. My experiences were identical. Very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable staff. Friendly, polite and curtiouse. Knew this stock specifications inside and out so i felt able to make an informed decision on my purchase.Would highly recommend! Prices were comparable or better than competition as well...

We would highly recommend Equipment Express in either Cochrane or Okotoks. This past winter, we had some problems with our snowblower on the front of our lawn tractor. The guys at the store went above and beyond to help us resolve the issues, to get the snowblower repaired. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for new equipment and service. They were fast and efficient. Brian and Stephen are fantastic!

Steve from Equipment Express was an amazing sales person, very knowledgeable and helpful with the questions we had regarding purchasing a snow blower. We're so glad we purchased from them and received great service from both Steve & Tristan to load the snow blower into our vehicle. We would definitely recommend Equipment Express in Cochrane.
