The traditional pizza is way too expensive for what it is. I got the lunch duo ( for 2)which comes with pasta and pizza...It's the same pizza and pasta you'd get at any Montreal deli for half the price. Maybe I'll go back to try their fine pizza because the service is god tier at least.

I really enjoy coming here whenever the craving for Italian food hits me and I’m around the area. Been coming back for at least 15-16 years and it’s still the same as it was back then. The people, service and food are top notch.

Very good service. We got some of the stuff on the lunch menu that came with your choice of appetizer, a main course and a dessert. The portions were big. We were all full by the end of the meal and had to take leftovers. I really enjoyed the tiramisu dessert at the end.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit here. The food was good (though definitely not the best) and the portions were huge for the price you pay. The restaurant is packed and reservations are required, though usually a day in advance is enough. The average crowd age is high, if you think that's important, I still don't know I felt about it. I'm always looking for a good dependable Italian restaurant that I can go back to when I'm craving pasta and I needed this one to be just a bit better in the taste/quality category for my taste. I'm glad I tried it and I'll probably be going back at some point.

October 2022 5*Visited the place with colleagues for quick lunch and had best pizza at the place.There is lots of seating place available so you can come with large group. The restaurant has regular menu and special daily menu.You get the free bread basket with butter. I order vegetarian pizza with green pepper and mushroom and it was nicely prepared.Staff is nice and serve with big smile.

Came here last weekend and the portion and taste was amazing. We also enjoyed the live music. We got the lasagna, spinach pizza and Gigi pasta and we ate every last bit of it :) . The pasta could’ve used some more meat / veggies it was mainly noodles.

We ordered pizza on doordash, a vegetarian and margarita pizza the vegetarian was bad-looking, no taste , no pepper, big chopped tomato pieces! All the ingredients were just thrown in the pizza

The simplicity of the ingredients allowed the quality to shine, making for an exceptional culinary experience.Adding to the overall comfort of my dining experience were the surprisingly comfortable chairs, making me feel at home in this storied establishment. Elio Pizzeria isn't just about great food, but also about a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that complements the dining experience.However, one area for improvement would be the maintenance of their facilities. The taps in the washroom were not functioning during my visit, which slightly marred the overall experience.In summary, Elio Pizzeria is a must-visit for authentic Italian pizza lovers in Montreal. It offers a blend of traditional recipes, comfortable ambiance, and historical charm that is difficult to resist. While there is minor room for improvement in terms of facilities, the culinary journey it offers is absolutely worth it. Can't wait to return!

Enjoyed a Father's Day dinner with family. Service was excellent. Food was abundant but casual style. Price was very reasonable. Atmosphere was just ok because we were in the back room which could benefit from a little freshening up. Franco (the owner) was very pleasant and also very entertaining!
