OMG!!! Absolutely love this place! It's so hard to find a nice, beautiful, clean and healthy place to eat. Great to take someone on a date or to grab a quick bite to eat! Yes, quick. The staff is super friendly and I was eating in less than 5 minutes! Check the plates on the photos, the colors and the combinations are delicious and eye candy. If you're tried of always eating the same junk food over and over, give your body a break and eat here! Enjoy!

The caesar salad goes well with the Yellow Sun smoothie. It is really satisfying. I enjoyed every munch.

The tacos were very generously sized and had tons of meat! The flavor was good, although definitely not traditional mexican taste, moreso lighty flavored but very healthy tasting.The korean pork tacos were 4.6/5The chorizo tacos were 3.6/5

Ordered the Chico Salade for my wife she said it was awesome. She really liked that it was pre-tossed in the container. I ordered the Korean pork tacos and the Chorizo tacos. They were both bursting with flavour. Two tacos is more than enough, as the portions are generous.We definitely recommend giving them a taste if you’re looking for something different that is fresh and flavourful.

I was doing a walk when I found this place and I wanted an light snack. This place is awesome I got the chicken tacos (8.50$) with an smoothie (6.95$). The food and the smoothie were very fresh, and delicious. It was light and filling at the same time . Very well made and worth the price.

First time here. Had the shrimp tacos for 10$ fantastic. Best tacos I've had in ottawa. Love the cozy feel of the restaurant and the music.

Updating my review: I originally said that portion quantities had been going down, that the amount of food served is inconsistent between visits. Their suggestion at the time was out of left field, and they suggest I order vinaigrette separately. Well, I eventually did and sure enough, they forgot to include it. Fortunately, they comped the salad. However, a few orders later we ran back into the same portion issues and lack of consistency. I typically avoid the La Gappe location whenever possible.

Overall, a good place for a light lunch. The tacos and salads are tasty. Only downside is the service can be very slow if it's even slightly busy. If you're behind 3 people, you can be waiting a long time for your food.
