U-Lock Mini Storage (Self Storage Parksville)

The front office staff have been wonderful to work with. We have rented several storage units and u hauls. They have done everything they could to accommodate our needs. The grounds are kept spotless and very secure. Highly recommended!

2 or 3 times I didn't enter code at the gate, not realizing it sets off an alarm. However the staff would meet me at my locker and explain patiently , 'I still need to enter personal code even if gate is open'. Very patient with me. parksville U-Lock is a safe place to store your belongings ! Got my vote. A happy client, Brenda L Graham

We rented a locker for a couple of months at U Lock and then a U Haul to move our stuff out. We could talk about the location, security etc. but what really makes this place great are the people. Always friendly and smiling and super helpful (even when we interrupted their lunch break!). We hadn't rented a locker before and they answered all of our questions (and we had a lot), reserved a locker for the date we needed (same with the U Haul), and did so in a super friendly and professional manner. Thank you to Jean, Jody and the two Waynes. You all made it very pleasant for us! You are all genuinely wonderful people!

Did our research in July 2019 …..from Southwestern Ontario for the closest and best prices on the island near Qualicum. The team at U-Lock responded quickly, provided details by email as well as a personal call to Ontario. Provided rates if we needed an additional storage unit ...which we did end up needing once we did arrive in mid October 2019.Once the one unit was no longer needed, we received a credit for the balance we had paid and was applied towards the next unit. We currently are still utilizing a unit at this great facility ...AND have rented 2 of their trucks to move goods from our units.Would highly recommend this facility ...and definitely use them again in the near future for moves and storageCheersWest Coast Rob

I've used about 100 self-storage locations across British Columbia in the past 15 years, and this is the best run and most secure business I've ever rented from. The hours are amazing. The units are perfect/clean/warm.Most of all, all the staff are incredibly kind, and they always have smiles on their faces.Highly recommend!

The owner is super rude and there is absolutely no after hours support. Your stuff will be safe, even from you! Definitely buyer beware!(And they literally copy and paste responses to reviews).They do not accept payments after hours, even though it you can pay online, if you are 2 days past due, they will overlock you out and no matter your offer to pay that moment, or whatever is necessary, they will refuse to push the singular button required to unlock a unit. He literally lives above the office, calls 9-5 “extended hours” and is straight up rude; and they literally say you can access your unit 6-10, but don’t have any support 6-9 or 5-10 (literally the “emergency” number on the back couldn’t even find me in their system to help me and said she was just a security monitoring place).If you think a water feature outside the gate is more important than respectful customer service, this is the place. They couldn’t even get my unit unlocked once fully paid and during office hours, at least learn your system!

Vehicle was clean and reliable - don't need the stress of worrying about your moving van when you are under the time-crunch of moving. Also, office was very understanding about a slightly late return time - no extra charge :)
