This year I planned my dream wedding in my parents Grimsby backyard, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible team at Special Event Rentals, especially Greg.I had some specific visions around table design, and Greg went above and beyond to make it happen. He was able to work his network to get us the special table cloths and bread plates matching the exact colour/design/texture that I wanted. We went back and forth across 20+ emails until he found exactly what I liked, and on the day of the event it looked even better than I had imagined.We booked their outdoor tent with lining, which they set up in the backyard across 4 days. Every person I met on their team was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. The tent was absolutely stunning, and held up great when it poured rain around 11pm.Greg also helped with a lot of last minute issues, including getting us a bigger table and extra chairs when 3 more people RSVP'd the week of the wedding. He also was able to get us a slightly bigger dance floor with one day's notice after our setup revealed we'd chosen too small of a size.The quality of the rentals they offer, including the extra range they have access to through their network, made working with Special Events a dream. Their team was very helpful, and did a great job to make our event perfect (including staying on site until 9pm one night setting up the tent).Gary referred us to our caterer, the Innsville, who did a spectacular job. He also referred us to a few other vendors, all of whom were top quality.If you're planning a high quality event and looking to work with a team who gets event planning and cares about doing things right then you should definitely contact Gary and Greg, who will make all your dreams come true.

I worked with Special Event Rentals when planning my backyard wedding on May 14th, 2022. From beginning to end they were absolutely amazing to work with. Lindsey was so knowledgeable, responsive, and organized. She knew what I needed even before I did! Once I explained to her the vision I had for a rustic backyard wedding, she brought that vision to life with tables, chairs, plates, and everything else that made the set up exactly what I imagined. She was so responsive to the multiple changes I made and questions I had between January and May and did whatever it took to make things work. I could not have done it without her! Chris was fantastic picking out the perfect tent for the day and designing a layout that would work with the specified number of guests. On tent set up day, the installers were so kind and flexible. The tent was a little tight with one of the tree branches overhead and rather than saying “oh sorry it won’t fit”, they said “well give us a saw and we can take care of that for you!”. The takedown was quick and clean. You would have never known they were there! I cannot recommend Special Event Rentals enough. We absolutely could not have had the perfect day we did without them. 5 stars is not enough!!

Special Events has such a great variety of trendy, high end and classic pieces. Lindsey was helpful and pleasant to deal with and able to offer some flexibility as numbers changed. Pickup and return were easy and we appreciated the organization as one less thing to worry about during wedding planning. Can’t recommend them enough for executing your wedding vision!

The team at Special Event Rentals were wonderful to work with! They helped us pull together a small backyard wedding in less than 4 weeks. Their rental equipment is very high quality, beautiful decor - exactly what we were looking for! The team was very efficient, great to communicate with and their service was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone looking to throw any type of event!

Special Event Rentals was a phenomenal vendor for us. We were able to make an initial booking and then add items as needed with ease. They were very relaxed as well about us reducing dinnerware items as we got closer to the wedding date and had a more accurate guest count.The dinnerware items showed up sealed in plastic bags and labels stating they were all sanitized and the glasses were all in well protected trays, again all seal in plastic bags. Their drop-off staff was also amazing and dropped things off in the exact locations we requested, which made our life much easier when setting up the floor plan.Their booking system is also amazing and would update live while we were making changes on the phone, which would allow us to confirm simultaneously that the right things were being added to our order. Their staff was also amazing and always helpful when we had questions.Overall, I would certainly recommend them as a company to rent items from!

To say my experience with Special Events Rental was any less than amazing is an understatement. Chris, was so attentive and so accommodating of what was always feeling like my ever changing needs. Our tent rental was so beautiful. I contacted several other companies and this was the only one that gave me a full quote and drawing of the floor plan right out of the gate. Chris also came out to our property twice to make sure everything would go smoothly for the day they came to install. If you are debating getting a floor installed with you tent I would 100% recommend it. Their team is very skilled and the floor made the tent feel so much more comfortable. We wish we could have kept the whole structure!

I can’t say enough about Special Event Rentals. They were phenomenal to work with and delivered and picked up everything without issue. The rentals came clean and very well packaged for use. The staff are equally as great and I appreciate everything they did for us. I have recommended them to everyone I know getting married or throwing an event.

Recently I had to reschedule an event and Carly was able to help me accommodate the change of plans incredibly seamlessly. I have recommended Special Event Rentals to all my friends and family and look forward to including them in many future special days for my family!

Normally we have a pretty basic family gathering table, but thanks to Special Events Rentals they helped me create a beautiful Thanksgiving table! The whole process from selection / to delivery to pick-up was effortless. Thanks again!

Gorgeous table settings, including water glasses and linens, made for a very magical cottage wedding. Pickups and returns were easy and they were very accommodating.
