Pierce Hotel by Simplissimmo

We had a wonderful day at the Pierce hotel in Montreal. The location was perfect for us. Lots of great places to walk around and restaurants to visit. We want to acknowledge Laura with customer service who took beyond the call of duty service to us during our stay. Not only did she help us get registered online for our stay She followed up once we arrived to make sure everything went smoothly. We had one small snafu with a window blind not closing properly and one call to Laura had maintenance come over and take care of the problem while we were out. This has been a great experience for us. We’ve never been to the city before, and we love it Laura and Gaetan did an exceptional job of customer service and hospitality while we were here. I had a recommend both the hotel and the staff. Thanks again guys, we’ll be back !!!

Location is good, room was large, and well appointed. Condition of the front entrance is a bit sketchy, key pad is held together with tape, exposed wires half painted walls. To be honest I thought I had to be in the wrong building. Not the first impression I was expecting.

Total scam in my opinion, go somewhere reputable.Edited after the hotel’s attempt to “clarify” points, or rather continue to mislead, which appears to be a core feature of their business model.I appreciate that you need to appear diplomatic for potential customers but there’s no need to misrepresent facts.1. I never complained about the parking fee not being included in the room rate. I complained about you falsely advertising having parking and upon booking sending a guide on how to find parking in the city. Everyone is aware that the city of Montreal has public parking, so there’s no need for you to advertise this as a feature of your hotel.2. You state below that you wish to be transparent about your charges. Then please explain why you charge “fees and taxes” that are almost as high as the room rate? Presumably to actually avoid price transparency and instead mislead potential customers about the actual cost of the stay in order to appear competitive pricing-wise and take away the opportunity for the potential customers to filter you out.3. You claim your cancellation policy is in place to allow you to manage room inventory effectively. However, you forgot to mention that I had JUST booked the room and asked you to cancel the booking immediately after reading your message about the parking situation. Thus it is hard to believe that those 30-60 minutes between me booking the room and asking you to cancel affected your “room inventory”.In conclusion, it is very obvious that your practices are purposefully and fully intentionally misleading, regardless of how you would like to appear in your response. As a piece of free business advice I’d recommend you to reconsider this short term thinking of fooling customers into booking a stay with you and rather focus on sustainable business practices such as good and honest customer service. I guarantee you good reputation and repeated customers are worth more long term than unfairly imposed cancellation fees, especially in an industry like hospitality.

Entry instructions and registration all very simple and all done online.We had a single apartment on the 3rd floor with a view down to the main road. The apartment has all the facilities for an easy self catering stay, washing machine and dryer all with in the apartment.Loads of restaurants around.The central station is only a very pleasant 20 min walk and very straightforward from the apartment. Also the apartment had good sound proof windows. However as we like fresh air we had the lounge window open. And yet the outside noise was not really noticeable so great.Overall this is a very cosy, easy to access apartment for any break.

The room is not clean, all the windows are oily and covered with dust, the outlet of the air conditioner and heating is full of dust, the floor is very stained with soles when walking. I originally booked a room for 3 nights, the street is very noisy at night, and the sound insulation is poor. Because the corner is the fire station, I will hear the siren of fire trucks and the loud noise of pedestrians in the street all night. On the first day of the morning, I heard the big construction drilling wall before 7am. Noise, no way to rest well. on the second night there was a water leak in the room, and a large blister appeared on the top of the bed room. After contacting the hotel management, it took a full hour to come to our room, but in the end, because the hotel was full and the room was temporarily safe, they did not arrange another room or hotel for us, only said that someone would contact us the next day. We just can left. In the end, we had to find the hotel to move in by ourselves at more than 12 o'clock in the morning. On the second day until 11:00 noon, there was no phone call from any hotel staff. In the end, I called myself to ask how to solve it. A very bad trip experience, very poor customer service, all problems to be solved by themselves. 100% not recommended

It is a Central apartment with a nice view, you have everything you need. Good kitchen, you can walk to the metro station, very clean and quick response I would stay again for sure

Great value for money- lots of space and very clean and modern- excellent comfy bed and blackout blinds. Only down side is it’s on a bit of a sketchy block, and also the room had a permanent scent of cleaning products or air fresheners or something, but having the windows open and fan on helped air it out. Overall great stay.

Good sized room with good amenities! The room was clean and the shower was awesome! We found the location to be a good balance between being close to the busy areas of the city, but not too noisy at night. Very happy with the stay and will stay again.Only request would be for a towel rack in the bathroom (we stayed in 303). Theres no rack for hand towels which is odd and a bit annoying lol. We just had a damp hand towel all weekend :P

This is a wonderful, cozy and clean space in a great location near the metro. Accomadation aside, the customer service provided by Gaetan and Laura is the best I have experienced anywhere. A really great deal served with efficiency and a smile. Bravo!!!

Comfortable furnishings. TVs! in living and bedroom. Small modern kitchen. Spa like bathroom, clean white towels. Comfortable bed with hotel quality bedding and pillows Black out shades! 100!+5⭐️Laura is simply the best!!
