Travelodge by Wyndham Abbotsford

We booked here because it was affordable. Our door had to be slammed disturbing other guests, the owner wouldn't even look at it. We found blood stains on the nightstand drawer. Our visit then took a turn for the worse when we found a person we believed to be deceased in the parking lot. Staff was aware and hadn't even contacted paramedics!! What a total disregard for guests and human life. Don't go here. They should be shut down and the franchise removed from this owner. I have uploaded photos of the blood stain on the night table drawer. It seems the owner keeps deleting it. Really just a drop in the bucket when you read all the horrible reviews of this place.

The place is not good for family class. Things are broken inside the room. Doesn't have any elevator. Carry your bags 14 stairs up to you rooms. Parking lots are at insured place. Booked with online with Priceline. Com. Thank God it was for only one night. Never coming back again to this hotel. Travelodge is the biggest name around it world and you would expect good but this hotel will definitely gonna bring the name and respect down

Room 111. Front desk person was the only wonderful portion of our stay. Room was sub par. Missing lampshades, Sour milk in coffee maker. Room was not made up, just the top sheet was thrown over the bed. Used towels required changing. Maintenance of building was poor as well upkeep. Bed throw was definitely used to soak up paint.

The room was clean but that was pretty much the only good thing about this place. It was pretty ghetto for what you're paying. The room was so hot it was like a sauna, the window was broken so hello fire hazard. The bathroom was tiny and the breakfast was terrible. All they had was a cold breakfast and when my husband cut into his boiled egg it was green. Eew. Would not stay here again.

Was a bit worried about the ratings I read online, and happily surprised when I got there. Hallways are a little dated but room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small, but worth the price. Left my trunk of my car open over night by accident and woke up with my tools and smokes still in it. Would definitely stay again

Door barely closed, room had good A/C but that's about it. Relatively clean hotel, no elevator. And very pressuring to check out here, they will call you to check out multiple times. $25 penalty if you don't return key cards. Would not stay again

We checked into this hotel because it was the closest hotel to our concert, the rates were comparable to other properties near by but this was the closest hotel. We realize it is not a 5 star hotel, we just needed somewhere to sleep after our concert for a few hours and picked this hotel for convenience. When reading reviews there weren’t major issues or any indication of bed bugs. When we came back from our concert we laid on the bed and my partner noticed three bugs to the right of him on his pillow. We inspected them immediately and realized they are bed bugs. We called the night audit and he offered to move us to another room. I mentioned to him it would be an issue for them as we’d be taking them to another room. When I went into the second room, it didn’t look very clean and I didn’t feel comfortable enough to stay. We left all our luggage behind as it had been contaminated, we called every hotel to find another room - the next place we could stay was the quality inn which was a $60 cab fare away and a rate increase. We had none of our things. In the morning we went back to gather our things and get garbage bags to bag our stuff. The manager/owner came up and just kept saying they do not have bed bugs as I handed her a bed bug I captured in a bag. We showed her photos of the bed bugs as well and she kept saying “everything is new we don’t have bed bugs”. Didn’t offer an apology, didn’t offer to help us with our bags and made it seem as though we were the ones who brought the bed bugs. When we got home it took 5-6 hours to wash/ heat all of our items and then we were paranoid we still missed something and brought them into our home.I called the Travelodge customer complaint line and put in a complaint. They told me they would get back to me within 7 business days. As they didn’t reach out, I phoned them to see if they’ve reviewed the file. The account supervisor Jessica (said it’s against policy to give a last name) said that the hotel told the complaint department they didn’t have bed bugs. Even though I had sent photos of the evidence of bed bugs in our room. She was a very rude woman, didn’t offer an apology either and said I got my refund for the night what more could I want. Then she told me that I should read the reviews better next time because there is a review saying there are bed bugs at this property and I should have booked somewhere else. She told me to read the reviews better next time.When I read the reviews there was no indication of bed bugs. I booked Travelodge because I thought they would be a safer option than a cheap motel. It was priced the same as other hotels in the area, if it were a cheaper price I would have thought twice about booking.I will never stay at a Travelodge again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know that this company doesn’t have any standards.

The staff don't have any clue about any questions you have... They don't know when the breakfast ends or starts... They don't know why they say they do laundry but don't do laundry... The breakfast is really half assed... And the internet is so bad it doesn't really exist.There was old popcorn under the bed. And we had to have a microwave delivered since they said we were getting one and didn't have one. The only place to put it was the bedside table...This place is just bad.

Stayed a night and paid $100 include Breakfast. The room was too hot and took while to find a fan ( window does not open )Electric clock is not working, Table was not stable and TV was too high up.Toilet was dirty and most concern was Bed bugs.Eventually changed room and that room was acceptable.Breakfast was most nightmare. Everything was not really fresh and not so much options even you paid $100.Cereal taste not good and rotten apples, bag of toast. coffee was warm.Overall The price does not match the quality of room and services.

The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are clean. The night club is loud. The patrons of the night club are noisy. The toilets run.The night club did not shut down until 2 am, we called to complain and the night attendant couldn’t do anything.We will not be coming back.
