A Bear & Bison Canadian Country Inn

Wow what a wedding! Honestly, where do I begin… Lonny and Brooke were outstanding. They exceeds any expectations we had and their communication, professionalism and expertise made the whole process so easy. The venue was quaint and everyone was so impressed with the natural beauty of the Inn. Highly recommend doing the Tapas style wedding dinner- the food was so delicious and everyone was so impressed. Everything was amazing and we had the best wedding ever.

What a wonderful inn. I would recommend to anybody anywhere. The Breakfast was the best food I had on my trip. The lodge like atmosphere fits in with the town and the view of the 3 sisters mountain from our room was breath taking.

My wife and I had an amazing wedding experience at A Bear & Bison Inn. The service was great, food was to die for and the entire experience was catered to make our lives easier. Lonny and Brooke were a pleasure to deal with and so very helpful. If you are looking for a wedding venue that takes most of the stress out of your wedding planning and wedding day, then we definitely recommend A Bear & Bison Inn.

Great BnB, as read in the other comments, the breakfast was amazing. In a great spot, short driver from the city center. We were in the corner suite on the top floor, amazing views in both directions. Highly recommend

We cannot say enough good things about A Bear and Bison Inn! It absolutely exceeded all our expectations. We planned our 45-person wedding from out-of-province (sight unseen!), and Brooke and Lonny made it very smooth for us. The entire weekend went on without a hitch, and we were able to just enjoy the experience without any stress.The food was incredible. We hosted a welcome dinner (casual BBQ menu) on Friday evening, and chose the Silver Service Tapas (international menu) for our Saturday wedding reception. Each dish was delicious, and Lonny took into account all our guests' dietary requirements (allergies, vegetarian, Halal, etc). It made each guest feel very welcome and taken care of! We were worried about not doing a seated dinner, but they made sure that there was enough seating for everyone to relax and enjoy their meal. Luckily, we were blessed with gorgeous weather, so we could take advantage of both the outdoor and indoor space. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and tapas dinner outside, then moved inside for dessert and dancing. If you're hesitant about doing the tapas-style dinner, let me reassure you that it will be amazing! The breakfasts for guests were absolutely delicious! Like, I'm still thinking about the breakfasts. So good.We had our ceremony at the gazebo, which was decorated with simple seasonal flowers. You don't need much, as the outdoor space is gorgeous in and of itself. With the trees and bushes surrounding the outdoor area, you feel very sheltered from the road and neighbouring properties.The rooms were very cozy and clean! We had our baby with us, so we needed a room that could be made dark and quiet during our reception. The top floor rooms have large skylight-style windows that don't have blinds, and room #7 on the lower floor is right under the reception room, so we avoided those rooms. If you or any of your guests have babies or young children that need to go to bed early, I would recommend a room on the main (middle) floor, as this floor has a fire door to muffle reception sound, but it doesn't have the large skylight windows that the upper floor has. We brought a white noise machine and blackout curtains that suction cupped to the windows, and our baby slept great!All in all, A Bear & Bison Inn did an incredible job, and we were so so impressed with the weekend. I would absolutely recommend this place for a wedding or vacation. We will be back! Thank you again Lonny and Brooke!!

Quick getaway for Valentine’s Day. Absolutely loved our room with spectacular views and jacuzzi tub. Complimentary breakfast was phenomenal. Brook and Lonny were so welcoming. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I just recently had my wedding through the inn! ( off site ceremony) they offer amazing packages! all of the staff were super accommodating and amazing to deal with. I feel i wasn't their typical bride as they were always wanting to help/ check in on me some way or another but i went super low-key( i wore sneakers under my dress). And didn't have much to ask of them. ( beside my husbands coffee addiction) they were there and ready for any requests! The views were beautiful, rooms were cozy. An amazing experience all around. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful b&b with some really amazing views especially from the corner rooms.. hands down the best vegetarian breakfast I have had. They had a three course meal which was very well articulated. Pleasing to the eyes and perfect on taste!! Definitely coming back to this next time we visit banff.

We booked “The simply Bear with me signature” the moment we checked in Brooke made us feel like royalty. Everything was taken care of by excellent communication between Brooke and Lonny. I can’t thank you guys enough for making our big day absolutely perfect! We wouldn’t have changed a thing. As for the breakfast ! It was so good ! We loved not knowing what we were going to get and really enjoyed the amount of work that went into it. It’s a beautiful property and everyone that works there loves what they do. Wish we were closer to pop in for for a vacation !

We just had our wedding at the Bear and Bison Inn. Everything went off without a hitch. Lonny and Brooke were wonderful, as well as the rest of the staff. The rooms are classy and cozy. The food was unbelievable. You probably couldn't get better anywhere else.
