Functional and affordable. I went in when I saw a clearance item online. Even without the clearance price, it was still a good price compared to mainstream stores. It was more than well-stocked, the staff was helpful, no complaints.

Excellent pricing, great stuff, great staff. If you are sick of getting ripped off by other surplus stores, then this store is a must, it has been a family business for 30 years since 1985. I will definitely come back to this store whenever i get the chance. As for the staff, they are especially friendly and they definitely knew what they are selling, unlike the other stores where their staffs' are quite oblivious of what they are selling...

Terrible customer experience. I purchased a new Alpha Industries jacket from Beavers, and was told I could exchange it within 7 days. When I realized the size wasn't right, I returned to exchange my jacket. The owner's nephew, Jamie, told me that they will not exchange it since the protective papers that were wrapped around the jacket's buttons were missing. The protective papers were in fact removed by him and another employee for me to try on the jacket at the store, before I made the purchase! When I mentioned this to Jamie, he started yelling at me and told me that I'm wasting my time. Extremely unprofessional. Needless to say, I will not be buying from them ever again.My advice is to avoid Beavers, and to find your products at more reputable stores. I know that Urban Outfitters carries some of the same products.

This place is a joke. Prices are almost double the market prices. Most of the stuff is a cheap knock offs that they are selling as the real deal. They don't even know how to label the stuff they have now. I wouldn't buy anything from there and don't know how people can give them a good review. Jackets they sell for $299 can be found at flea markets in better condition for $50 or less.

Not very happy with how they dealt with obviously defective item. I expected them to offer to take it back especially after showing them they had a rack of items with the same defect still up for sale. Otherwise, still the best place around for the type of gear they sell and the prices are reasonable. Patient and helpful staff.

Very nice staff. I wanted an Alpha Industries jacket, which was sold out in my size. True to their word, they remembered to call me as soon as they got more inventory. It also helps that their pricing is better than other stores.

Beaver Supply has been my go-to store for high quality military surplus clothing to be used as outdoor wear for snowshoeing, hunting, and camping. They are experts in their field, and if they don't have it, always willing to suggest a place where it can be found. Service , knowledge and help are always (and great goods) are all part of the retail experience.

Always a good selection and reasonably priced. Don't be intimidated by the sheer mass of stuff. Ask the staff and they'll find it for you...usually with options. Lots of neat historic stuff too-one of the last authentic places in Toronto. Handy to Yorkdale and the 401 as well.
