New Years Day was only 2 tables in bar very slow service. Smittys side was busy so we were ok with slow food service but completely cold breakfast was sad, only thing that came hot was the soup and that was because they brought wrong one had to get a new one! The rude tall guy was not a team player that day swearing at the waitress. Not an attitude you’d want in hospitality! hopefully they can improve on their delivery. Food should not be left more then a minute before being served. Multiple times been a problem here and a common problem management should address! Wing night probably the safest bet. A mediocre at best place for food and service.

If you go on wing night, they don't let you take your leftover wings home.Basically if you order wings and only eat 2, they keep the rest and still charge you full price!They probably recycle the leftover wings that they don't let you take!

While not the most lush and extravagant dine-in it greatly achieved what it set out to do, satisfy my need for middle America diner food. It perfectly encapsulated the real essence of being middle class. From the friendly staff who talk about their plans for the weekend, which is watching Netflix while eating Ben and Jerry's cookies and cream ice cream, to the above average modern restrooms that aren't as dirty as they could be, not not as clean as I'd like them to be. The food is heavy in a I want to be satisfied but also plan on having a bowel movement today." Kinda way

Small overpriced portions. 2pm restaurant was less than half full, order of chicken fingers and chicken burger took 50 minutes. The chicken fingers and fries would have been a good child size, not a $18 main option. Will never be back, thanks smittys selkirk

Walked into the facility, with a few people and was refused service, with no reason, or explanation. Discrimination !! Need to boycott this place don’t spend money here, unfortunately selkirk doesnt have many good places that stay open late ….. but this place needs to be shut down!!!! Wish there was 0 stars, but obviously with their low rating they can’t be bothered to care and allow poor, unqualified management to run it. Can’t & Don’t support places like this doing business.

Food and service was great, Cajun chicken burger was delicious. It would have been 5 out of 5 for me. One major issue for me though, that resulted in a 1 star review. No change table for my toddler in the men's washroom.This Smitty's is a little behind the times it seems. It's 2023, Smitty's. If you want to be considered a family restaurant, make it family friendly.

Ordered food for takeout, and this is what it came out to. A friend ordered New York Steak & I ordered Fish/Chips that cost $25.00+. 1st we waited forever for the food to arrive, but we didn't mind this because we were all dead HUNGRY, we just wanted something to eat. When everything came out, this is what it turned to...Steak was dry, looked and tasted as if it was microwaved. Fish/Chips was not even up to par to a frozen ready to eat meal. I don't mind having served two fillets of fish thats same sized as my ****, but the MASH POTATO it came out with was dead cold in the center! Whole horse****, never coming back. The only thing positive about the whole meal was the water, at least it was cold.
