To any pet owners who love their dogs or cat, please stay away from Carnivora. You think you're paying for quality food? Think again!I purchased a bag of rabbit patties and kept them in my freezer. Mid way through the bag, I found a patty with MOLD. Disgusting right?? Not only was there mold, but I found a piece of metal in the patty. You can take a look at my pictures. I contacted Carnivora right away on Oct 5. I was so mad. How can you process dog food with metal in it??? When I didn't receive a response by email, I decided to call Oct 7. The woman who picked up the phone seemed nonchalant. Oh did you email about the moldy patty? We're still looking into it. Can you also send us pictures and the lot number?" I sent the lot # across. No response again. So I called in again and got the email of the woman answering the phone so I could send my pictures. I sent in my pictures and asked for an update. Two days later

We have seen a huge improvement in our senior dog since starting with Carnivora. She is more mobile and has so much more energy. She is a healthy weight and her coat is soft shiny. I would definitely recommend Carnivora.

We transitioned our cat to raw using Whole Animal Chicken Dinner. We bought the second bag but it was so full of skin he won’t eat it and we’ve been throwing all of it in the garbage.

I used to be really happy with Carnivora food and used it for my four pets. Two of them in particular are very fond of the beef offal. For a good few years, all was good. Then probably starting around a year or two ago, I'd get an occasional bag of the beef offal that smelled awful and the pets wouldn't touch it. I'm talking literally leaving it there all day until I took it away and gave them something else. I heard there were supply chain issue (of course, as with everything), so I thought okay, a bad couple of bags, it is what it is.But it kept happening over and over. I've had to throw entire bags out because they just wouldn't eat that batch, and when I got a particularly bad one a month or two ago, I finally decided that was it, I couldn't afford to continue to gamble on the quality.I used the contact form to ask about this and got no response. If they'd bothered to get back to me with a platitude or two, maybe I'd have given them a 3. If they acknowledged something unusual was going on, maybe I'd just give it a break and try again in a while.As it is, I'm still using them for the turkey, which seem fine, but if I get one bad bag at this point, I'll be switching away entirely.Edit: Their customer service did finally get in touch with me after leaving this review. While they couldn't offer any additional information on why I kept getting such bad batches of beef offal, they did try to make things right, so I've upped this review to 3 stars.

As of late, I’ve noticed that the quality of the raw food has gone down. There is either big chunks of fat, or the beef is all stringy. The whole package of all beef diet was this stringy weird texture. Not too sure what is going on but its gross.

I bought Carnivora to try on my dog who was coming home from the ICU today. She ate it all up..Turned her nose up at her other choices.

Great people. Best quality raw food. Our dogs won't eat anything else!

Great variety of products. Love that it is a local brand. I buy from PetValu in Regina and I never had any problems with the product.

For years our dog been on beef raw Carnivora but recent purchase of same product has something definitely wrong with it, 8 of Patties out of box we’ve tried so far and our dog would smell it and walk away…even though he was hungry. The meat smells as if it has gone off, mind you we bought whole frozen box and store it in a freezer at home. The meat is off and I hope that Carnivora will offer a refund for the box of meat. At the store, owner mentioned that in recent months there has been an increase of same smelly/off meat reported by other customers. This is not right and disappointing as we have always trusted and recommend Carnivora to anyone who asked about raw. I hope company will care enough to speak with me…
