Beautiful Gothic church, an exact replica of a 14th century church in England. Lots of hand carved wood on the altar and the statues. The stained glass windows are bright and magnificent, telling the story of the saints. Lovely organ at the back too. Choice place to get married and baptize your baby which we did since this church is in our hood. Father Peter is a former scientist with great stories. He’s friendly, approachable and very welcoming.

This has been my R. Catholic church for 40 years because of the Charismatic Prayer group. The oldest in Ontario, if not Canada. We have survived and Overcome many Challenges. Mostly from the Hierarchy of the Church, be it a mentally disturbed Priest or a very rt.wing Archbishop. But no human can shutdown God. We are Actually Celebrating our 50th anniversary this year. Come and Visit us. This Church is very unique. We are History of this Area for over 130 years. Started by the Best. The Basilians. And owned and run by them in the Basilian Tradition till just a few years ago. Because of the terrible shortage of Priests, Our church was given to the Diocese. Whohave EVEN Less Priests. So Holy Rosary has gone from having at least 4 active Basilian Fathers priest us plus the Priests living in the Rectory but probably teaching at U of St. Michaels College U. of T.To: just 1 Diocesan Priest who is shared with other churches when their Pastor goes on vacation. We are very lucky to have another AcademicPriest who was the Principal of StAugustine Seminary. The Folk Mass at 5pm Sat. is the best Sunday mass if you love Music and Being Part of it. The Group led by Edwin Chiu on the guitar or bongo drums,the Best Jazz Pianist going ìs always evolving with great singers who Encourage the Congregation to Sing and be United as 1 with them: Praising God, The Holy Trinity. We are not sung at. We go their to participate.Worship is not a Spectator sport.We are called to be United.
