Hôtel Le Dauphin Montréal Centre-Ville

We stayed for one night as the other conference hotels were booked out, and though this hotel was considerably cheaper than many of its neighbours, we were certainly not disappointed! We had one of the modern rooms which was large and well-apponted. The continental breakfast was surprisingly considered and delicious, the gym was well-equipped, and the service stood out with a smile, a positive attitude and a seeming desire to please their guests! The hotel is not overly large, the lobby is spacious and modern, it is on a quieter side street and the location is great, close to varied food, a great grocer ( Avril), Old Montreal, McGill, the train station, shopping, etc.. We will definitely stay here again. I appreciate the good value offered.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful.The room was large and clean, loved the Dyson hair dryer as well as the mac computer .Location was close to old Montreal and walking distance to st Catherine’s street.I was able to charge my car , which was a Bonus.

We stayed for only 2 nights but we wished we had stayed here longer.Our room was very modern and clean. It had a small sitting area and also a working desk.In the bathroom they had average size shampoo, conditioner and body wash (as opposed to the small size ones you always get in other hotels).Everything in the room was modern, from the TV to the Mac to the Dyson. All of these amenities might not look like much but if you have stayed in a hotel where everything looks to be 10 years old or more, you definitely appreciate a little bit of modern changes.They also have a big led full body mirror that is perfect for pictures or just check your outfit.Our room came with breakfast included. It is mostly delicious pastries, eggs and coffee. They have very efficient coffee machines for self service, which makes it easier to re fill your cup without much interaction. Everything is self service at breakfast as well.They hotel staff was very nice and helpful, always with a smile and willing to explain everything to us.I will stay here every time I go to Montreal

The hotel staff were all friendly and check-in was smooth. Breakfast was included for my booking and the selection are pretty wide. There were cereals, yoghurt, milk, juice, bread, croissant, coffee, tea, butter, cheesestick etc. Do note that it stops at 10am. The King room is clean and I got the view over the street.

••Service••I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, it was clean/organized and the decor is beautiful & modern. The receptionists were kind and helpful with any questions I had.••Location••Perfect, everything is within walking distance. If you need to take the metro it is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel located in the convention centre.••Quality of stay••Wonderful, they let me check in early since my room was ready to go. Large windows, waking up to the beautiful sun every morning. It was very quiet, you can't hear other guests in the hallway when you are in your room.••Price••The price is excellent for the location. It is a smaller hotel with only 8 floors I believe, I stayed on the 6th floor which had decent views. Hotels within the area would run you anywhere from $50-$150 extra per night.••Amenities••-Free breakfast (array of croissants, cereal, quiche, eggs, coffee, juice, yogurt etc.)-Gym on the 1st floor-Free high speed internet-Mini fridge, Dyson hair dryer-Complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner-Flatscreen TV has Netflix & youtube.

This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure!Super Quiet, Clean, Comfortable and Relaxing! Slept like a King and Queen. Absolutely loved this place!!! Excellent value. The employees were super polite, kind and always made a point of greeting us. Croissants, pastries, coffee, lattes, espressos, Americanos.... all delicious and free. We walked everywhere we went. Very handy location.

Check-in was 3min and clerks are delightful and friendly. The rooms are extremely clean. Hard floors are much easier to maintain and don’t hold smells. Awesome stand-in shower with monster sized shower head and never ending hot water, Dyson blow dryer. Super comfy bed, big screen, a quiet fridge built into the desk, and even an iMac to use.One of the best features was the continental breakfast. Wow!! They put out fresh croissants, bagels, muffins, bread, all the spreads (cream cheese, peanut butter etc.), milk, boiled eggs, cheese, yogourt, fruit, cereal, and best of all… freshly brewed espresso on-demand! The staff were incredibly friendly and busted their butts to clean up and quickly re-supply everything. This alone was worth $25 at ANY cafe.Location is great, close by to bus/metro stations, Eaton shopping centre, restaurants and waterfront. Parking is available right behind the hotel or one block away at the Convention Centre in safe underground lot.For everything including the price, this was by far the best room I’ve stayed in compared to all the big chains and 5star hotels I’ve been to before. Thank you for a great experience, I will definitely be back and will strongly recommend it to anyone!***** 5 Stars *****

What a gem! This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. We stayed in an Executive Room with one king bed. It was spacious, modern and very clean, and the bathroom was huge! We were also very impressed with the continental breakfast (delicious pastries, espresso-based drinks, cheese, bagels, juice and more), and the staff were welcoming. Very close to a lot of attractions and the metro, as well as the bus from the airport. Two things to note were that we found the bed quite hard, and we could occasionally hear tv noise/talking from other rooms. But otherwise, A+, excellent value for the nightly rate.
