U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

I rented a truck for July 3rd 2021, 10 am. He did not open the store. 5 other customers and I waited till 11:30, he was not in the store and he did not even answer the phone numbers written on the window. One of my worst day of 2021. Uhaul call center also could not reach the guy and the call center arranged another truck from another dealer. How can U-Haul give dealership to these unprofessional guys? Unbelievable!

One of the worst experiences ever, I rented from here because I was moving on Easter and everywhere was closed but here.I was instructed to do a mobile pickup with no prior instructions on what was needed when I got there or when I returned the rental. So I was stuck waiting for 30mins before a representative called me and gave me “instructions” which were also vague and bad which thus caused me to be late for my appointment. Rep’s name was “Cindy” and she sounded like she hated her job with no enthusiasm nor care to help me at all.I was then billed a whooping $300 overcharge for hidden fees and missing equipment when I didn’t even get a dolly to help as I rented one. I will be contacting my credit card company in fraud; I will not pay for their services ever again, I will pay for the rental as I used it but wow, what a scam. Disgusting behaviour.I wasn’t even called or anything but checked my card to see it the audacity. Stay away! Far AWAY! Don’t recommend anyone here ever as this business should go under with this poor management and customer service.

Was shocked by the inappropriate behavior by the man working there, I have it all on video and will be posting his behavior publicly and share it with UHaul to have this buisness under review. I see from other reviews that im not the only one. Customers beware and be very careful with this man.

No one was at the location to give us keys even though the posted sign said they would be open. 4 other customers were waiting and frustrated that they could not pick up their trailers/trucks since they were not open. The mobile pick up option was not working as there needed to be someone to verify our information.

This is the first time we rent the U- Haul. We did not park the car to the spot we pick it up, this man in the picture yelled at us with a very very rude manner：“stupid”. This is not the way U- Haul should have to their Customers. Tooooo BAD!!! I can't believethat this happened in Canada!

Dont get your Uhaul from here. Owner is really Rude and does not even care. He sneakily put extra fees on my order without me knowing and uhaul customer support said he was suppose to ask me before adding those charges. Also he swiped my credit when i had already entered my credit card online and he insisted on doing it. His reasoning was “he doesnt trust online”I wouldnt suggest renting uhaul from here. You will get ripped off.

EDIT on 7/26/2021: I used this place again recently for renting a cargo van and my experience was totally different from my previous. I got very good service from the new lady working at the counter. Some real customer care and she was very helpful. I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.For the record, following is the review I submitted several years ago:I guess when one runs u-haul as a side business they don't need to worry too much about customer satisfaction. The guy who works there really hates his job

I write scam charged me 150 bucks for a 3-hour rental I'll be contacting uhaul and I will be advising my credit card company that this is fraudulent charges

Worst Customer Service Ever! Should be shut down. I never write reviews but the interaction I had with the man who works here was absolutely despicable and made me realize I should have listened to the many negative reviews this business has and not go. Do not go to this establishment, worst customer service ever and very rude staff. The man swore at me to my face about me, I have never been treated this rudely by any staff in my whole life. The man should be fired if this is how he communicates with customers. He had absolutely no respect. Do not rent a u-haul from here do not go for car work. Absolute nonsense and to top it off, no apology no nothing, that shows how much they care about their customers. Warning: Stay Away.
