These guys do amazing work at a great price. I highly recommend Great City Concrete!!

Hired Gord to pour a new sidewalk, they did a great job, and hung around until everything was set so neighborhood kids didn't write their name or draw pictures in it. Great work!

We used Great City Concrete for a basement bathroom renovation that needed concrete dug up and re-poured in order to add plumbing, we couldn't have been happier with his work and dedication to our project! Gord went ABOVE and BEYOND! Amazing final product and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have several other projects coming up and 100% will be calling Great City Concrete to come back!

I not recommend this company for someone. They promised 2-3 days job done. However they left unfinished job for over a month with full money paid.

Do not hire Gord. The concrete he poured started falling apart after less than 6 months. He promised to come back and fix it and never did. If you question his work, he is defensive and rude. The price was cheap and now I know why, because the quality of the concrete and the workmanship was very poor. After researching why concrete would fall apart like that, it sounds like it is because they put more water than concrete when mixing therefore it wasn’t strong enough to withhold. So I’m guessing he tried to cheap out on the concrete by adding more water. He also measures incorrectly. He doesn’t seem to be familiar with how to measure properly. He doesn’t seem to be very experienced. He is demanding for money before he has any plan in place to begin the work. He is an immature person to deal with. It is an eye sore looking at the concrete falling apart more and more. It’s patchy from where it’s crumbling and it looks horrible. I’m so disappointed. After spending a good amount of money on this I don’t have money to spend to do it over again with someone else and am now stuck with this until I able to.

I have owned my own concstruction business for 30 years. Gord Schell is the type of person who says they'll do one thing, but then doesn't do anything at all. Terrible customer service. I recommend never using this person or company.

We hired Gord Schell of Gteat City Concrete. Gave him a deposit to get our date secured for the poor then a couple months later asked for money for a permit (found out he isn’t legally able to pull a permit himself) then was supposed to start the job gave a total 5500 and he dug up my driveway in October of 2022 and left us hanging without a permit dirt on a busy residential street and left us like this. We had to pay someone to fill back in our driveway for the winter and now he won’t pay us back when we ask where our money is he gets all mad and blames us! Very rude customer service buyer beware!
