Patrelle's Bakery & Sweet Shoppe

I ordered cupcakes for my husband’s birthday party last weekend. I only placed the order on Wednesday of last week, so I was so happy they were actually able to take the order. I spoke with Michelle in the store, and she helped me hammer out the details of what flavours, colours and decorations I wanted. She was so patient and helpful. Fast forward to the weekend, the cupcakes were stunning and some of the best I’ve had. I ordered 3 flavours: vanilla, chocolate peanut butter and carrot. The chocolate peanut butter was perfectly decadent, and was exactly what everyone hoped it would be. The carrot cupcake I would eat everyday for the rest of my life if I could - it was the BEST cupcake I have ever had. And there have been MANY. I cannot recommend this bakery enough for your next bakery order! We will be using them exclusively.

Plenty of parking outside the front door. No handicapped parking from what I recall or accessibility but I could be wrong. Will check on that on my next visit.The bakery is smaller but it just means they have more time to perfect their recipes and focus on making great baked goods. I haven't tried everything I purchased yet but the butter tarts were very tasty.I saw their specialty cakes and will be ordering one for my wife when her birthday rolls around!!

I saw a co-worker eating a fabulous looking cake today when she ordered it in for her break. After hearing her review of how good it was, I had to give it a try.I ordered a slice of the citrus cake, a slice of the carrot cake, and a turtle brownie. They arrived and all looked amazing! The brownie slice was quite generous! I had the citrus cake after my supper tonight and it was absolutely devine! It was a tad rich but oh, so worth it. I'm so glad I gave this place a try. :)

Beautiful and absolutely delicious desserts. The owner Michelle is super friendly and an incredible baker. You can tell there’s love put into each masterpiece.

I tried their product through Too Good To Go app. So keeping in mind that they were day olds, this was what I thought.Strongly recommend the blueberry cheesecake brownie and the blueberry scones. Fantastic!Cookies were a no. Macarons had a weird flavour as if they absorbed some sort of odor. The cupcake icing was the same way. Inedible.I cant say what it would be like to order fresh but I can say I might stop for a scone. Not overly exciting. The majority of it was missing salt or something to offset the sugar making it painfully sweet. Perhaps Salted butter would make a difference idk. Worth it for kids parties tho!

Patrelles, A hidden gem well worth searching out. The pastries and sweets are a treasure to behold. Esthetically pleasing and delectable treats for you and your guests.

I was looking for a last minute cake for a forgotten birthday when I first stumbled upon this wonder. I walked in and was immediately overtaken by the nostalgic buttery sweet smell of bakeries from my childhood--you know--the smell of actual food from a time before cakes became what they are today: dry, crumbly sponge bricks infused with chemicals after having the soul sucked out of them.Anyway, the cake they had set aside for me was adorable and while they wrapped it up I had a chance to browse the other items they had for sale... I was dazzled by all the cute little designs and placards with different flavours scrolled across them... and then I saw it...I almost missed it, because it was seated at the bottom of the display cabinet, a bit toward the back... As if there was some strategy in its placement... as if putting it on full display might somehow cause an issue that would become too big for them to handle. I won't name what it was for fear that these poor women would be so swamped with eager patrons hungry for a piece of their past, that I myself would never again have a chance to get my hands on that spicy-sweet, raisin peppered old-time grocery store miracle with the iconic icing that tickles your throat just right on its way in... like a highly skilled lover...I shouldn't have to name it. If you loved it as much as I did 20 years ago, you will know exactly what I am talking about.After eating it, I can tell you it's the real deal.Go get you some...

I ordered the butter tart cake for my husband's birthday, and it was to die for!! The was butter tarts packed inside the cake so when you cut it open, the filling dripped out! Best cake we've ever had!
