Tweedsmuir Park Lodge

This place is amazing! They put us up and treated us like royalty when highway 20 out of Bella Coola was closed due to forest fires. Many thanks to Gabby, Courtney, Rebecca and all the staff for the genuine concern, help and generous treatment. You turned a frustrating and worrisome situation into a very comfortable and enjoyable stay :) I'd recommend it to anyone and hope to come back to check out their skiing and fishing tours.

Absolutely amazing, stunning scenery and beautiful chalets. We even got to see some Grizzlies right from the dining room. Staff were wonderful and took care of everything. It was clear that safety was their top priority when it came to bear viewing so I felt comfortable and was able to enjoy myself the entire time. Lovely Lodge!

If I could give 7 stars I would. Our holiday at the Lodge was incredible. We and our sons were pampered and cared for. At the Lodge they do go the extra mile. The restaurant/bar staff are angels.The food was amazing, too. They even adjusted the size of the portions for our children to avoid food waste.The daily morning yoga was a blessing - the instructor took great care of the participants. The guides were able to explain flora and fauna to children and adults in a captivating manner. We learned to read tracks and saw plenty of wildlife. Thank you so much

Perfect combination of mountain lodge with comfortable accommodations and excellent food and service. Staff was always very helpful and personal, all meals we delicious and well portioned. Definitely will return.

This is a wonderful place to get away from the rest of the world! We're here in the summer to try to watch bears and the nature trails are spectacular. The Lodge is a five star establishment, great food, lovely service, and the chalets are super clean. Highly recommended (and if you are winter sports enthusiasts, this place must be incredible!)

Fantastic location right on the bank of the Atnarko River. We saw a grizzly feeding on salmon from the viewing platform. The Chef was incredible. Thanks!

I had a wonderful time at the lodge! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating and the cabin was just beautiful! I loved the decoration of the room and it was very clean! The meals were outstanding!!! Our dinner was made exactly to order and we even got to see bears on the lawn while eating! We had the chance to do a rafting trip and the staff was very knowledgeable about bears, salmon as well as nature and the surrounding area. The viewing platform offers a great chance of watching for wildlife and I could have stayed there for hours just enjoying nature! The hot tub and gym are also very clean and you get to enjoy great views of the lodge and the lawn where we had seen the bears. All in all this was a great stay and experience and I can’t wait to go back!!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made sure everyone was safe when the grizzlies were around. The chalets were beautiful to stay in. The food was amazing and they were kind enough to make accommodations for my allergies.

Upon arrival you know you are in the great bear rainforest, the trees are very dense, the air crisp and your are surrounded by a sense of just openess and wild.Nestled in all of that is this amazing lodge, Tweedsmuir Park Lodge.The cabins are beautiful, a luxurious lodge and cabins with a cozy vibe, huge windows to take the splendor of the mountains in.We saw deer and a grizzly right from the cabin and lodge during our breakfast and dinner.The lodge itself is amazing, a rustic vibe with a high end feel, the food was phenomenal, my favorite was the breakfast, the best eggs benny I've ever had.There is a games room where you can play pool, darts and floosball, the kids loved hanging out there in the evening, like a nature clubhouse.The hosts and guides were even more pleasant, they treat you so well, very kind with big smiles.The via ferrata was too intimidating for me but my 13 yo kid and her friend successfully completes.The ebikes are awesome fun, we plan on a heli tour and guided nature tour next time we come back.We can't wait!!

This has been on our bucket list for years. This is an amazing Canadian wilderness experience. The location is in our beautiful BC mountains and forest. Seeing grizzly bears, Bald Eagles and salmon in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable.
