VPI Working Solutions (Scarborough)

My experience with VPI was terrific..my councilor Nadia was very good and wise about my career choices and helped guide me in the right direction to a job. She followed up on me. Since l was an older mature candidate she was instrumental in sorting out my resume from may yrs and condensing all my training and experience into a fabulous resume. I cant Thank her enough for her guidance and very supportive insight.

I registered in VPI for job creation program. One of my friends told me the program helped her find a small business to get professional experience. However, I was told the program is cancelled. And there are not the positions I am looking for in VPI's job board. In fact, I didn't get any help.The staff is nice though.

Working Solutions is a great community center for helping people especially new comers to find job. I was so happy to collaborate with them especially Narzo Khanam who helped me much more to find a job, she helped me to built my resume, she gave me advices for how to meet the manager and how to prepare myself for the interview. Working Solutions always opened up their hands for helping any time you need. I talked about Working Solutions to my friends too and sent them to the center in Scarborough branch, they were also happy. So thanks to Working Solutions center for always opening their hearts to us. I still going there for any questions or help, they are really so kind, I appreciate their kindness. Since 2016 VPI has helped me immensely attain employment as well as aid me in certifications such as Smart Serve. Every agent I've ever had the pleasure of working with has always made me feel like I was their top priority, but that feeling doesn't go away either. Even after you find employment VPI makes it their mission to see that you've found a job that your comfortable in and will give you a call/email after a few months just to check in. If you're in need of a job and you're not sure where to go next, VPI will always be there to help guide you.

Very Friendly. but this Place isn't good for Second career. wasted 6months. Wasn't really helping in second career. always pushing towards Employment from their end. Very bad service. Late Responds. tHEY ALL TALK NICE. but 6 months wasted. this is my Eperieance.

Worst new comer immigration service ever!!! Landed in October 2022 and since then was asking for job assistance and financial aid (which govt provides to each new comer Permanent Resident); however, even after keeping patience and frequent follow up granted for 100$ after 5 months. I denied to accept that, because government provides 500$ for initial settlement grant/month for 2 months and they are just giving me 100$. I don’t know whether they are doing fraud by taking immigrants’ grant or not, but surely are not helpful! Instead would recommend any other agency not this

They are friendly and helpful. Always updating me with the current and future events such as Job Fairs and Workshops. I would recommend people who needs help looking for work to see them even if you just need help with your resume.

Narzo Khanam and the staff were very helpful and professional. Narzo was knowledgable in providing career guidelines. She helped me with the things that I needed to learn and develop. I am thankful I attended the interview invitation at VPI Scarborough. I have learned a lot! :)

I have had wonderful experience with VPI by providing awesome support in my job hunting which includes resume revamping, interview workshops, one on one counseling by Ranu Lal and other staff members who have been so nice.
