Wonderful to see small business still thriving thru this pandemic. Friendly staff and fresh goods with a safe flow for patrons make shopping great.They have great take out breakfast & lunch.A great way to reduce your carbon foot print and feel home town hospitality.

Who is giving this place less than 5 stars? Love this shop. Amazing fresh breads and pies, local honeys, jams and maple syrup, European delights, some harder to find Asian items (ramen can be made in store), and a bathroom for paying customers. The owner has plans to expand offerings very soon, but I can't share experience about those. Love this little shop!

We love this shop. Love picking up specialty items, amazing dinner rolls and cookies. Today we tried the chicken and fries and the family reports it was really good!

Prices for coffee and bread etc were great and good quality. But everything else has no price labels on it. I have no idea how the other prices of products were in order to properly review it.The place seems extremely different from last year so it seems there is new ownership. I don't know if this is related to growing pains or what.

Excellent selection of deli meats, cheese, baked goods and great coffee.. You can have lunch or a snack in a seated area or for take out! Love to go for a deli sandwich made to order and love their chilli... All the staff is friendly and courteous. I regularly stop there.

New ownership, old signs/menus still up and the only sandwich being made is a “Korean pulled pork sandwich” that’s definitely pre packaged & microwaved.

Zehr's is an old school small town bakery. The baked goods are always fresh. I had the Chelsea Buns are they are the best I ever had. The breads are fine. There is nothing interesting i. taste or texture. They could introduce baguettes or sour dough. The sandwiches are generous and nicely priced but nothing special. Coffee is meh. There is no espresso machine in Bancroft. They could be the first and change their business almost overnight. Would I go there again? Yes for the baked goods.

They just renovated. It looks great now.They sell Chicken n fries there too, some other small fast snacks, meals. For Take out.

We stopped in Bancroft on our way to Ottawa and were happy to see that there was a deli/ bakery in town. We all got the Korean pulled pork sandwich it was very tasty and warmed us right up. We also snagged some freshly baked cookies for the road. Zehr's has that old world charm of a family ran business. the owner was kind and helpful and friendly. We will be stopping in again our next road trip.
