Nice B&B, for Guests with special Breakfast wishes. Wonderful Nature, friendly People, direct stay on the River Inhabitants with a nice view on it. Canoeing on the River Inhabitants.

An overall very peaceful and pleasant stay with a friendly couple that welcomed us to their B&B. The breakfast was true European style! This is a great place for those that want to get away from technology (as there is no cell service)!

Lydia and Johannes were wonderful hosts. The room (king) was large with a TV, couch, and the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in. The bathroom had an incredible shower, and we had a semi-private porch with a table & 2 chairs. The view of the river was gorgeous and the garden of flowers close by was lovely and filled with fire flies at night. The breakfast was an experience itself with fresh fruit, delicious homemade jams and spelt bread, yogurt, eggs, juice, meat, cheese, and anything else you would want to eat! It was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you!!

We were headed to the resort of Dundee and wanted a more peaceful experience so we decided to try BNB by the River. Wow what a find! The most comfortable beds ever, spotlessly clean, delightful hosts and a deck out front looking on the river. Breakfast the best, with eggs cooked to order by our host, two types of homemade bread made by our hostess, cheese, jams, European cured meats and good coffee plus fresh fruit which changes daily. The conversation at the table interesting with everyone sharing their plans for the day and experiences from the day before. We would like to have stayed for the summer!

We stayed for one night at this great little B&B very peaceful and quiet in mid September. Very comfortable room and great bed for a good nights sleep. We especially enjoyed having breakfast with our hosts and great conversation, wish we could of stayed longer and been able to try some of their homemade beer. Would definitely come back again!

Simply perfect. A beautiful room, delicious breakfast, unbelievably friendly hosts and the best porch over looking the river ever. Everything was clean, well put together and overall a lovely experience. Thank you!

This was the perfect place to stay as a rest stop while traveling around Cape Breton! The room was very comfortable and clean. Location is a short drive from many lovely trails. The owners were very thoughtful and attentive. We ended our stay with a delicious breakfast and a beautiful view of the river. Would highly recommend!

Lydia & Johannes are so friendly. It’s a quiet and beautiful place to be. You can have a breakfast with a view over the river. You can use the canoe and float up and down the river. All in one it’s a perfect stay to relax, have a great time and have a wonderful vacation!

We felt like guests in their home! We were only there for one night but enjoyed it tremendously. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Lydia and Johannes are great hosts!
