Laura has a beautiful personality that is inclusive and compassionate. She is empathic and knowledgable. She calms people and makes people feel comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about these ladies. I had an OB for my first and Laura and Meghan for my second. The care and information I received from Kelowna community midwife's far surpassed that of an OB. They are so supportive and knowledgeable. And after I had my son, I was under their care for 6 weeks! They honestly felt like family. If you are on the fence at all about choosing a midwife... Do it.... These are your ladies!

Meghan and Laura were absolutely incredible in helping us through the journey of our first child. We have started to endorse a midwife (Meghan and Laura locally) to any of our friends. In speaking with people who have had a GP instead of a midwife, the experience is COMPLETELY different.They provided us with valuable information every meeting and always made sure to clarify any questions that came up for us. Their office space was comfortable and homey. Following the birth, they made home visits every second day. Our newborn was early and low weight, so they worked with us for a feeding plan that we were comfortable with, sans formula.

Laura is a wonderful midwife, she is knowledgable and informative. She is very confident and makes a person feel well taken care of. I would highly recommend choosing her as your midwife!

I had such a great experience with Laura and Meghan! They are very professional, a wealth of knowledge, make you feel very comfortable leading up to labour and I had Laura for the birth and she was fantastic! They also go do home visits the first two weeks which is super helpful with a new baby! Thanks ladies!

Genuinely passionate about what they do, and very supportive and focused on my birthing goals with no judgments. Absolutely cannot praise this team enough! The support my pregnant wife and I received was far better then we expected. While being extremely informative, they do a great job keeping personal opinions to themselves. Neither my wife or I attended any classes for our first child yet felt completely prepared and confident to bring a life into this world. Although our birth plan had shifted significantly when my wife started labor, everything still went smoothly and despite the birth becoming complicated, with Meghans help my wife still birthed our son naturally. If that wasn't enough, these amazing women visited us at home whenever necessary and were always there to answer our questions day or night, 24 7.

Both Meghan and Laura are exceptional. They are knowledgeable and professional, and allowed me to understand the changes going on throughout my pregnancy. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and empowered in my choices. Blessed to have these powerhouse women care for me in pregnancy and postpartum, and for my baby as well.
