Island Hot Pot

I was walking home and passed the restaurant. Young man out side was bbqing something good and was polite. Got a block away and still could smell the delicious food he was cooking. Turned around and went back. Store was clean but looked empty. The young man came in from cooking and I asked what was good. He suggested the daily special. Jerked pork. I got a large. And ordered some Samosa. I only regret was waiting the 4 blocks it took me to get home before eating it. Huge amount of rice and peas on the bottom with fried plantains in the corner. But the amount of pork I got for the 12$ they charged made me feel like I was ripping them off. This will feed me for 2 meals. I am a big guy and can eat. This place is amazing. 5stars for amount of food 5 for quality of service and if I could 10 stars for the taste. Bbqed and blackened just right. Not dry or tough. So good I’ll be back to try the curry goat and roti this weekend. Also say yes to the sauce and the slaw. Both outstanding.

Really good curry goat with plantain and pasta salad, samosas where nice and a good jerk chicken wrap. We will be back!

Nice chicken roti served with sweet plantain on the side. Price is right, food has flavour and good customer service. Will definitely try again

The unassuming decor does not give away the hype of this food - we had curry chicken + fried chicken and it each dish was well seasoned, flavourful and moist. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Amazing food an the gentleman who works the counter (John) was a great person to talk with very honest an extremely nice . Food was amazing an delicious but best part was having a chat with John . Definitely will be back again..

Swung by on a Tuesday evening for some grub. Got 2 orders of Jerk Chicken and some samosas. Portions are generous and flavor is delicious. Recommend. Make sure to show up on Friday and Saturday for goat and ox tail.

My wife and i was looking forward to trying this place out. The stews tasted really good but the rice was verrrrry mooshy like oatmeal.probably wont be trying it again however customer service was good.

Ive never made a review before so i feel really bad doing this because my experience was very nice but i actually wasnt able to eat half my meal. Im the litterally least picky person in the world but the side wasnt edible (rice) chicken pretty good but unfortunately i had half my meal wasted. Much love though
